"I asked the doctors earlier," he managed to mumble out.

"Of course," the older man said casually. Despite his kind demeanor, Bakugou couldn't help but feel uneasy about this conversation, mostly where it was going.

"So you should know Kurai is okay," Bakugou nodded.

"Have you gone to see him yet?" There it was. The point he didn't want this conversation to go.

"No," he confessed. "I have been asleep."

He didn't want to admit out loud that he didn't plan to go see the redhead. But, he was sure it was evident on his face what his true intentions were because Masaru then asked:

"Do you plan on seeing him soon?" The brunette asked.

"Yeah, I just want to get more control over my quirk before so," he put up a nervous smile.

"Woah son, in the hospital?" An amused grin spread across the wrinkly face. Bakugou stared at him confused but he did also feel slightly discomforted.

"My god! Masaru!" She scolded, slapping his arm gently as he chuckled at his own joke. "Don't listen to him."

She set some food on a tray connected to his bed. The food didn't look very appetizing. Along side the food was some water.

"This trash is just for today" she began, "they want to help you get control of your quirk the first chance they get, so I'll have to bring tons of spicy food and shit like that."

Bakugou nodded as he looked down again at the "trash" food with distaste.

"Always wanting the best," he heard his mother scoff playfully, a slight hint that she had rolled her eyes as well.

"They're gonna move ya to a more than one stay hospital room tomorrow, so they can use this room for emergencies," she explained.

"They're just getting it prepped for your standards," Masaru added in. "Cool temperature, fire-proofed bedding, ect."

He nodded, understanding what they were explaining to him.

"We'll be back soon," she walked over and ruffled his hair before turning around to leave.

"Try to go and see Eijiro as soon as you can," Masaru said before opening the door to follow his mother out. "Believe it or not, I think it'll help the both of you."

He left after saying that.

Would it really help them both if he went to see Kirishima?

He wasn't too sure.

No, he knew it would help him. But would it help Kirishima?

Probably not. He hurt him. He hurt Kirishima. The redhead probably didn't want to see him.

He hated the idea of not seeing Kirishima, but he knew that the redhead would most likely not want to see him. His husband never hurt him.

He did though.

He wasn't Katsuki. He wasn't Kirishima's husband.
