Drew was wandering around the stadium, she got lost along the way and somehow it felt as if it was all closing up on her. So many people , so many different things and lights and cables. It was a bit overwhelming.

She didn't understand why she had to be here. She came to work with her foster mother , her foster mother worked as a cleaning lady and she remembers a couple hours ago her foster mother was very angry with her and they drove here. She must've lost track of her when they entered. She remembers taking a quick nap , she didn't know why she was tired after all she was a big girl already.

Nonetheless Drew wasn't bored , to her this atmosphere was exciting and thrilling and all the sounds around her only made her little heart beat faster with excitement.

The little blonde girl was holding tight onto the stuffed giraffe that was so soft. The girl looked around with curious eyes , she tried finding the source of the music that was so oddly comforting to her.

It felt as if someone was hugging her , the little girl sat down at a nearby door , the sign read something about not being allowed to enter , or she thought it did , she wasn't able to read yet but she recognized the sign , a similar one hung infront of her foster mother Mrs Malums office and infront of the room at the police station she was not allowed to go inside of despite being curious what was behind the door but no one there listened to her.

Drew walked closer to the door and tried twisting the doorknob but nothing happened and so she figured that if she waited long enough someone would come by and she could ask where her foster mother was. She never wanted to go back to Mrs Malum but Mrs Malum would be mad if she didn't come back soon , she already ate without permission and she slept without permission. Now she at least had to come back.

She didn't know for how long she waited , a bunch of people kept on passing by , some looking more intimidating than others. To the little girl it was evident that alot of people around her we're important , some maybe more than others , some people had headsets , some people were on their phones and one woman made her way though the hallway , red hair , and she was very tall and seemed serious , but she was engrossed in a phone call with someone and she talked as if she knew that she had all the confidence she ever needed.

Drew found her scary , but not because of her voice , the klicking on the floor of her polished heels reminded her of endless social workers visits , the girl bit the inside of her lip and hid her giraffe tighter. She instinctively pulled her knees up to her chest to shield her giraffe so no one could take it away. She never knew what to name the giraffe.

However out of all the people who passed by no one seemed to even notice she was there , they were all caught up in their own world of adult drama and stress , to busy to notice something out of place. The only name Drew kept on naming was Taylor. She thought it was a pretty name.

Her long hair was in her face and it annoyed Drew , who kept on trying to brush the blonde strands out of her face with her fingers but it didn't work the way she wanted it to.

She shivered , somewhere a door must've opened cause suddenly it was freezing , the little blonde held her giraffe tighter hoping to feel some of its warmth but nothing she tried seemed to work.

A brunette walked by , Drew noticed how pretty she looked and the brunette immediately noticed Drew sitting there all alone and was quick to walk over to her.

"hey , why are you here?" she asked , she sounded very kind and Drew saw that the girl genuinely cared

"Waiting for my foster mother." Drew replied confident and she saw the older girl raise an eyebrow but she didn't know what it meant

"What's your name?" the girl asked , sitting down across from Drew, crossing her legs and twirling her curtain bangs around her fingers

"Drew." the girl said , very sassy and the brunette smiled recognizing a bit of herself

"I'm Jo. How old are you?" the brunette said before fishing her phone out of her pocket and quickly typing something

"Five. And you?" the blonde sassed back and Jo crossed her arms and had to hide a laugh. Is that how Taylor always felt when she would talk to her?

"14" Jo said , as she started to fidget with the sun charm on her pandora bracelets and she noticed the little girl eyeing her shoes absolutely loving them and the looks of them

The little girl saw two women walking in , one being the scary redhead from before and the other one was wearing a completely mismatched outfit , sweatpants , a grey top and for some reason neatly polished highheels.

Drew found the younger looking woman to be very pretty , she was really tall and had eyes that reminded Drew of her own and she always liked her eyes.

"Hey sweetie , what are you doing here?" the blonde woman asked and Drew shrugged

"Waiting for my foster mother. She works
here." she repeated as she crossed her arms infront of her chest

"Do you know what her name is?" the blonde woman asked and Drew nodded , now focusing solely on the blonde woman as the redhead was busy talking to Jo.

"Mrs Malum." Drew said and the blonde woman nodded and said in a bit of a louder voice
"Tree , can you check if there's a Mrs Malum here anywhere?" the blonde asked , sitting down besides Jo and ruffling her hair to which Jo shot her a warning glance

"Okay well I am Taylor and this is Jo , and the redhead over there is Tree and she is trying to find your foster mother. You'll be back there in no time." Taylor tried to assure the little girl and Drew felt bad

She knew she had to see Mrs Malum again but that didn't mean that she wanted to , she was a bit scared of her but the thought of not seeing Mrs Malum again scared her even more. She would find her and then she would be in alot of trouble.

Drew held onto her giraffe tighter so no one could take it away from her and she saw the redheaded woman walking away with fast steps and Drew looked back and forth between Taylor and Jo.
