As per usual Taylor was busy with Travis and Jo was bored out of her mind. She was currently getting ready to go out with Ellie , Ellie said some friends were throwing a party and they could go.

Jo just hoped that maybe Eli would be there so she wouldn't feel so lonely if Ellie would run of with some new guy again.

Jo decided to put on her favourite pair of baggy jeans and a corset crop top. She didn't know what was wrong with the outfit however she did not feel as confident as she usually would.

But she knew she couldn't change out of it , Ellie told her to wear it and Ellie knew what looked hot. Or at least Ellie claimed she did , Jo didn't necessarily agree with Ellie's idea of what looked hot.

Jo didn't even need to sneak out , she could straight up walk through the front door and she wouldn't even notice.

Jo made her way to the location Ellie had described her and as soon as she arrived she was greeted by a hug from Ellie whom already smelled of too much alcohol

"Oh my god you're here. I swear you look soooooo hot." Ellie said , her hands on Jo's waist and Jo immediately felt uncomfortable and closed her eyes.

"Okay this is Lucas , Jack , Aiden , Brad and Tom. Brad brought the alcohol and if you need a driver Aiden is your guy. Also Jack is single and his weird friend Lucas too but he's a bit ugly don't you think." Ellie rambled down , her voice slightly slurred and she gently dragged Jo into the house where there were even more people but she had her doubts that Ellie knew anyone.

Ellie was flirting with Brad , he looked like he was at least 20 and Jo didn't think he was a good influence and she stood there a little bit lost.

It was awkward but to Jo it was like every party that Eli didn't attend , Ellie kept on running off with someone and it scared her cause she never knew anyone in attendance and she had to hope someone would come and talk to her.

Jo walked over to the small "bar" which was a table with some bottles on it , Jo picked up a still closed bottle of vodka and opened it , quickly taking a sip.

Vodka was always her preferred drink , Jo didn't understand why but it was usually what she would reach to at party's.

A few seconds later Ellie came towards her , quickly taking a huge sip of the just opened bottle as if it was water. Jo could never chug alcohol like this.

"Don't drink that much , you don't really know anyone here." Jo said taking the bottle from Ellie who just rolled her eyes

"Relax , everyone seems nice and besides I'm here to have fun."

"Still it's not like anyone can pick us up. We have to get home somehow and my sister doesn't even know where I am." Jo said and Ellie shrugged brushing Jo's curtain bangs out of her face

"You are so pretty , has anyone ever told you that?" Ellie whispered and Jo felt shivers on her back. It made her uncomfortable.

Jo turned away from Ellie and Ellie wrapped her arms around Jo from behind and whispered
"Look at that guy , he looks cute , doesn't he?"

Jo looked at the guy , he looked a lot older than her , he didn't look bad but the way he was flirting with a girl even younger than her made her insanely uncomfortable knowing very well what type of guy that was

"Not my type." Jo muttered under her breath and Ellie was quick to let go of her and walk over to the guy herself , gently pushing the younger girl away a bit so she stood infront of the guy.

Jo sunk down at a wall , she hated this. This environment , party's are only fun if you don't have to stand there alone. This friendship with Ellie , lately she begun questions wether it was even healthy but the way it seemed now it always left her crying and alone around people that scared her. The party's she wants to go to have people her age , not just a bunch of 20 year old horny boys which try to sleep with minors.

She saw this boy Lucas make his way over to her , he seems to be around her she and despite what Ellie said Jo found that he looked really nice
"Are you alright? You look a bit sad." the boy asked taking the bottle away from Jo

"This really isn't good for you."

"My friend dumped me , I don't know where I am and I hate it here." Jo said in a bit of a mean voice which she immediately felt sorry for the guy who just asked her if she was alright and seemed to genuinely look out for her

"Sorry , my brother dragged me along. It suck's here , I'm Lucas."

"Jo."

Jo hot up as Lucas motioned her to get up and Jo did as told , suddenly she felt dizzy again and Lucas turned around
"Are you alright?"

"I'm feeling really dizzy again and nauseous, this happened before and it was horrible." Jo rambled down and instinctively Lucas grabbed Jo's arm so she wouldn't fall over

"Did anyone put something in your drink?" he asked worried and Jo shook her head

"Impossible." Jo whispered and Lucas put his arm around her shoulder and somehow Jo didn't mind that at all

"Sorry I'm touching you like this but you look like you could pass out any second and you aren't even that drunk."
He said , his grip firmly as he walked her out of the crowded party , tears in Jo's eyes as she felt so vulnerable and scared and Ellie left her once again.

"It's fine."

Outside Lucas made sure Jo was sitting on the grass of the front yard , Lucas beside her , holding her up and
"Which school do you go to?" he asked and Jo shrugged
"The private one in Tribeca , but I only attend like half time ish cause I do most of my work at home." Jo said , her voice a little thinner than usually

"I go there too. But same system I'm rarely there." He said and brushed Jo's hair out of her face trying to hold it back cause it seemed like he was scared she would throw up and so at least her hair was out of her face

"I think I've seen you there , you play football right?" Jo asked and he nodded
"I'm the tight end."

"My sisters boyfriend is too , but you look better than him." Jo giggles and Licas ran his hands through his hair

"As flattered as I am you should probably call someone , you don't look to healthy and are a bit drunk." he said and Jo nodded

She quickly got out her phone and clicked on Taylor's contact , it rang a couple times and no awnser. Jo tried calling her again but no succes ,reluctantly she clicked on Blake's contact
"Blake, I am so so so so sorry , but can you please pick me up again , I don't feel well. Please." Jo rambled down , her voice a tiny bit slurred and

"Jo where are you? And why can't you call your sister?"

"I don't know where I am , it's dark , I'm scared and Taylor is busy with Travis."

"Jo , send me your location and I'll come and get you but you can tell Taylor anything."

A couple minutes later Blake was there and Jo bid Lucas goodbye but not before getting his snap and Jo was slumped in the passenger seat and Blake was in her pyjamas wearing glasses

"Jo , you should have called Taylor , you know I'll tell her anyways."
Blake said while taking a sip of coffee

"Go ahead she won't care. She's busy with Travis. A couple days ago I was throwing up the entire day and she didn't even notice that I wasn't in school and didn't do my online school work and she didn't check on me nothing. She is busy with I don't know being famous and in love or something." Jo shrugged and Blake shook her head

"She's your guardian , and your sister she has to be responsible enough to dare for you. This is like the seventh time I had to pick you up from somewhere and she didn't care." Blake said , a bit upset with her best friend and worried about the small teenager next to her

"If you want to know so bad , I tried calling her before I called you , two times she didn't pick up and even if she's asleep usually the phone always wakes her up." Jo said crossing her arms , tears at this point streaming down her face.

Alcohol often made her overly emotional and she felt neglected and Blake seemed to be mad at her and Ellie was a jerk and she hated it and she felt sick and Jo just wanted to go back to when everything was better and it was her and Taylor against the world
