As Jo made her way to the vip tent she was clutching her phone tightly and was a tiny bit scared. She was used to big crowds and security being around her almost at all times , however when she is there all alone , without the protection of someone else , and without security it is a bit scary. Jo didn't want to go with security, despite Taylor telling her to. She wanted to be on her own for a bit. Even if it is just the five minute walk to the vip tent.

As she sat down on one of the chairs , she came to the realization that she was the first there. She saw more and more people filling the stadium and the voices around her growing louder by the second.

Jo was fidgeting with her necklace , the voices around her were unbearable loud and somehow she was still on her own. Technically she wasn't on her own but she barely knew the people around her which all seemed to be engrossed in conversations she felt to young to understand.

She was searching for some similarity , she hated this feeling. Whatever it was. It made her want to be backstage with Taylor.

Jo kept checking her phone , she waited for Tree to reply to her message. Tree is one of the few persons that always , genuinely has Jo's and Taylor's best interest at heart , and often times a person that gladly listens to Jo rant about all her problems.

Trouble 2
Where are you???????????

She saw a lot of people looking into her direction and she flashed a quick smile at them and stood close to the end of the tent so that she could hand the fans a few friendship bracelets.

Everyone was excited to see her and they were all cheering. Somehow Jo just felt her chest tightening at all the people cheering for her.
But she still kept smiling.

"oh my god , what's your favourite vault track?"
One girl yelled , she seemed to be a little bit older than Jo , and she was dressed in a reputation bodysuit and was really tall and really beautiful. She was maybe around sixteen and Jo was absolutely loving her outfit. However the whole crowds cheering made it all way worse and it wore her out.

"I think electric touch , I really love Fall out boy." Jo replied with a shy smile , before handing the fan a bracelet and moving on to toss a bracelet to a woman who was standing more in the back who cheered loudly.

"Can I have a bracelet?" she heard a smaller voice , from a little boy , maybe around 9 or 10 , dressed completely for the Lover era.

"Course , which one do you want?" Jo spoke loudly over the crowds so the boy would hear her and she showed him her wrist , covered in all sorts of bracelet and he took a closer look

"Uhm , can I please have the It's nice to have a friend one?I love that song."
He asks politely and Jo smiled as she handed the little boy the bracelet

"It's one of my favourite songs too." she smiles kindly. Jo was always pretty good with kids and enjoyed seeing the younger swifties at the shows. They had way less expectation on her.

As Jo was back in her seat she was again fidgeting with her necklace again.

She saw a familiar redhead enter the vip tent and a smile grew instantly on Jo's face who immediately jumped up.

She rushes over to her sisters publicist and practically jumps in Trees arms. She heard some fans cheering and as she pulled away from the hug Tree smiled kindly at her and says
"You can't just disappear like that , I haven't seen you in month."

"I was busy." Jo smirks at the redhead and hands Tree a bracelet. Tree quickly slips it onto her wrist before she asks
"Is everything all right? Jo? You seem a bit stressed."

"It's alot of people here and I don't know it's a bit much , no idea why."

Tree nods understanding and takes Jo's hand before guiding her over to the chairs which are a bit more in the back and she sits down on the one next to Jo's.

"How had summer been so far? You didn't text me a lot." tree added with a smile and Jo shrugs
"I was with my friends alot and than Taylor started dragging me along to everything and it got more boring. I swear I saw Jack more this summer than my bo- I mean my friend."

Tree raised an eyebrow a small smirk playing on her face but her expression dead serious. Jo knew for sure every guy she'd ever date Tree would despise. Jo doesn't have a boyfriend right now , she just simply made a mistake. It was a complicated thing.

"Do you know what she is working on right now?" Jo shakes her head and pouts
"Your fault she doesn't tell me anything , remember?"

"Cause you can't keep your mouth shut and I can't make you sign anything since you're 14."

"You're probably counting the days till I finally turn 18?"

"I have a calendar where I have been counting the days on since I because your sisters publicist." Tree says , her voice dripping with sarcasm as she looks at the young teenager sitting infront of her.

"How many days is it still?"

"I'll check when I get home."
Tree says laughing a bit as she also takes a look around the stadium and says

"The countdown is about to start I think, do you know the surprise songs?"

"When Emma falls in love and never grow up."

The smile on Trees face hinted that she was well aware how much that song meant to Jo

"Makes sense she chose Never grow up for you , are you excited?"

Jo nods as she continues fidgeting with the necklace around her neck. For a second she thought that Tree may have gotten a glimpse of how anxious she really was but if Tree did she managed to hide it relatively well.

"Yeah , I really am , it's kinda like my song."

What Jo didn't know was just how well aware Tree was , to Tree Jo was an open book , well aware of everything that was happening in the teenagers life , Tree knew crowds always made Jo anxious. This is why she has been trying to talk to Jo the whole time , to get her mind off of
it all.

To Tree it didn't make a difference if Jo was anxious or if it was her own daughter , she saw Jo grow up , she was pretty much always there. A lot of fans seem to forget that Tree knew Taylor well before she became Taylor's publicist , and she has known Jo pretty much since the day Jo was born.
