My English teacher is dumb af c, she told be about an essay that it was poorly written , it was about the American dream (keep in mind English is my second language and I've only been learning English for four years and that I am not from America), anyways it is being exhibited at all important school events to show how great our foreign language learning programs are and is used as an example for essays for the final exams at the most advanced level my school offers , which are definitely a few grades above Me. AND ITS MY MF SECOND LANGUAGE

But I learned my teachers opinion has the worth of a Kanye West cd since she says Taylor Swift writes bad songs

Jo woke up the next morning confused as to why she was in Taylor's arms however it didn't bother her and she closed her eyes again. It felt as if Taylor had been avoiding her just to get away from her everlasting questions. However when she was asleep Taylor didn't mind being around her.

She felt Taylor stir a bit assuming her older sister was most likely waking up now but Jo kept on pretending she was asleep. It had been the first time in too long Taylor had hugged her and she forgot how much she had missed it.

All because of Jo's stupid questions , Jo had tried asking Austin however Austin was always just her big brother and either he didn't know or he immediately shifted the conversation to make fun of her to avoid her question however in this particular case the first option did seem more plausible. After all he was barley 17 when Jo was born and it had always felt this way to Jo that when your not a grown up you are no one at all.

Jo wished she could escape , escape from this being a teenager thing so she would just be an adult , finally people would see her as an equal and not just as a side character in an seemingly endless chapter of never being allowed to have an opinion.

Jo felt Taylor sitting up and carefully Jo sat up to and Taylor asked surprised
"You're awake? I thought you were asleep."

Jo nodded carefully but didn't say anything. Taylor didn't loosen her grip on Jo but rather she pulled Jo closer toward her.

Jo was out with her friends , Eli her best friend dragging her through the mall to the next store that sold video games. Since the only game Jo really knows how to play is Mario kart she had no idea what was even going on.

She was drinking her favourite red bull while Eli was going through the shelves of video games.

"I swear this is so boring can't you just order the game online or something."

"You dragged me here , I might as well buy it then and I won't have to pay shipping costs. Eli said and Jo groaned and slumped down on the floor

After what felt like hours Eli finally found what he was looking for and as he came bag withs bag in his hand he dragged Jo up by her wrist and said
"Now you dumbass choose what to do."

Jo made her way through various stores in the mall and bought a bunch of different tops and shirts , bikinis and everything she found to be looking good that happened to be on sale

"Where do you get this fucking money from."
Eli asked confused , to him it was insane how Jo always seemed to have some money on hand

"Usually I get it from my sister but if not I take some cash she has lying around and either she doesn't notice or she simply doesn't care." Jo shrugged and Eli rolled his eyes with a small smirk

"How can she not notice you taking her money? Like I would notice immediately if my money was missing." Eli said , he had a vague idea of what Jo's  response would be

"I dare you to google my sisters networth." Jo said , definitely joking. She hated talking about money since she knows her sister has a lot of it and she doesn't want to make people uncomfortable but around Eli she knows she can make these kind of jokes without him getting mad at her or envying her

They continued with just randomly going through the mall not even going into any stores and suddenly Jo stopped. Her eyes went big as she saw a piercing studio and she saw Eli shake his head

"Don't even think about it , you need parental consent or something." he said and Jo shook her head as she wandered him with a smirk
"Violet got hers done here without parental consent."

"What piercing are we even talking about?" Eli asked and Jo shoot him a sly smile
"Belly button ring."

Eli shook his head at his best friend who already rushed into the piercing studio and was now talking to one of the piercers and Eli did not think this was a good idea.

He knew Jo's sister wasn't too strict with her but he knew this was not something Ko should be doing in secret. He knew Jo had a tendency to make reckless decisions without ever giving it a second thought however it would not kill Jo to mature a bit

He followed Jo who was now getting prepped to get her belly button pierced
"I don't think this is a good idea Jo." he said genuinely caring about his friend not wanting her to do stuff that could get her into trouble. Sure he isn't perfect he definitely vapes a lot however he knew that Jo and her sister shared a close bond and whatever happened lately must have shattered that bond to some sorts and he didn't want a stupid fight between Jo and her sister about something so stupid that Jo would hate in ten years anyways.

"Jo I really don't think this is a good idea." he said and Jo shrugged
"Neither is vaping hasn't stopped you before."
She said before grabbing his hand as the piercer began to fixate Jo's belly button and Jo knew that soon he would actually pierce her.

Jo squeezed Eli's hand tighter and Eli felt a weird feeling in his stomach , he always maybe liked Jo a bit but he began to think maybe it was getting more serious than he at first thought. He did not want to ruin the friendship

Jo was surprised about how it didn't hurt at all , but she was happy she went through with it. As she looked in the mirror she truly felt confident about her belly button ring. It was true what people said that it would be a confidence boost and Jo absolutely loved it.

As they got out of the studio Eli asked
"How will you even hide it? You smartsss are wearing a crop top."

"I just bought a new shirt I can just wear that, I'll just wear it over the top and Taylor will never know."

"Your so fucking delusional." he said while rolling his eyes at his best friend

"I thought that was common knowledge, the only way this could come out is if my sisters publicist comes over anytime soon but I think for now I am safe."

"If you say so."
