The things your little sister buys you...
Jo had gifted this mug to Taylor mainly because she found the double meaning hilarious, it was true Jo and Drew had to listen to what Taylor told them, wether it was to clean their rooms or whatever new thing Taylor had in mind. And also Taylor was singing all the time.
Currently they were on their way back to New York and Taylor was debating wether to actually use this mug or destroy it for all eternity as she was very much aware that Jo had no nice intentions with this and her sole intention was to ridicule her authority.
However it was pretty funny.
Especially Selena thought so because as soon as she called she began making fun of that. Taylor loved Selena but Taylor had the slight suspicion that Selena's sense of humour shaped Jo's a bit too much.
Currently Jo was curled up in one of the leather seats texting Gracie, Jo seemed a bit bored but due to the glimpses of brief conversations Taylor had heard it wasn't much of a surprise.
Taylor was clutching her stomach, she's been having a really nasty stomach bug today. It didn't help that Drew constantly kept asking for Travis. Currently Taylor had managed to distract Drew with tangled playing on endless loop and though Taylor was technically on vocal rest Drew made that especially hard.
"Taylor, Taylor, look she is singing like
you." Drew cheered turning the iPad towards Taylor smiled weakly making the five year old pout a little. That girl was too cute for her own good."Rapunzel sings better." Jo smirked at Drew and Taylor looked at Jo, dramatically pretending to be hurt and Drew seemed to be beyond shocked at what Jo had said.
"No that is not true, see now you hurt Taylor."
Drew whined before running over to Taylor throwing her arms around Taylor's neck and trying to climb on her lap."I'm fine sweetie." Taylor whispered into Drew's ear, after all Taylor still had to take care of her voice a little. Drew seemed to be content with the awnser she had received
"Ugh Florence was so hot." Taylor giggled and Jo blushed a little
"You're in a relationship Tay. Like I mean I don't like football boy but like you know.""It's a girl crush. Shut up and shed have anyone on their knees." Taylor said giggling and Jo chuckled, even though she agreed with Taylor, she found it a bit weird to just hear her sister saying that.
"Like your performance was amazing though, it was like you begging Florence to even notice you and you were freaking out over her." Jo giggled and Taylor flipped her off
"As if you were t staring at her the whole time."
Taylor grumbled and Jo shrugged
"What does football boy think of the performance?" Jo said, a snarky grin on her face and Taylor rolled her eyes"He thought it was an amazing performance and it was." Taylor smirked and Jo rolled her eyes and stretched out her legs on one of the tables making Drew pout, Taylor always forbid her to do so.
Taylor was scrolling through her phone and she let out a long desperate sigh and Jo looked up a little confused
"Everything alright?" Jo asked softly and Taylor nodded
"Just people hating on Blake and calling her a mean girl and as if that isn't bad enough they are also saying I'm a mean girl now for being friends with her and are saying I'm a bitch and are trying to cancel me.""You're like the best celebrity there is and like Blake and Ryan are so fun. People just suck." Jo said and Taylor smiled at her, kissing her little sisters head, and pulling her into a side hug.
"We both know that, but people just want to hate." Taylor said quietly and Jo smiled up at her
"Can't we cancel like swifties? Like the ones hating on Masie for example. I don't know what's wrong with them, she killed it." Jo said and Taylor nodded eagerly
"You have a million fake accounts, go and do that and say something like, Taylor wouldn't ever hate on other people's music.""Doesn't seem too believable like that comment but like the what you're trying to say is correct.
I'll see what I can do." Jo smirked and Taylor grinned. After a while Jo was staring at Lucas contact name, she had blocked him, Macie had told her to do so. She broke up with him and just cut all ties. She felt guilty for doing so. She knew he tried to force her into stuff she wasn't ready for and she didn't feel bad or heartbroken that they were over but she was scared because what if he was actually heartbroken about it? Should she unblock him and text him? Taylor would certainly kill her, she didn't tell Taylor everything but enough for Taylor to hate him.
She then stared at Macie's contact, ever since articles about Jo had been published neither Macie nor Cassie had texted her or called her. They hadn't unfollowed her on social media or anything but Jo was scared, they felt truly like real friends, it always felt like all her friends just stopped talking to her after a while. She always had friends, they were just constantly changing because no one stuck around, Jo wasn't that much of a bad friend. At least she didn't think so. She was always there for her friends when they needed her, they just always ended up finding new and better friends.
Now Macie and Cassie felt different, they felt like they were actually her friends and not just because it was convenient. Jo missed them already even though it had barely been a week.
"So what's on your pretty little mind?" Taylor asked and Jo sighed
"I haven't heard from Macie or Cassie since uhm you know what happened, I got like famous.""If they were ever really your friends they wouldn't care. Also try and text them. You won't know till you talk to them." Taylor said and Jo shrugged, running her fingers through her currently curly hair. Taylor still did her hair a lot of times just because Jo asked her to. Taylor just managed her hair to look perfect.
"But what if they hate me cause I lied." Jo said, slightly scared and Taylor sighed
"Talk to them, and try explaining it to them.""But they are like major swifties." Jo grumbled and Taylor gave her a sympathetic smile
"That doesn't matter, they don't know me. They know you. They shouldn't put me above you just because they like my music. Friends are so much more important and the true ones stick around." Taylor said fidgeting with one of the bracelets Jo gave her and Jo shrugged"Hey sweetie, what bracelet do you have there? Did Jo give it to you?" Taylor asked and Drew nodded and proudly showed it to Taylor and Jo smirked widely
"Jo, are you serious? Dickhead guy? Come on." Taylor snapped and Jo grinned
"What's a dickhead guy?"
