Chaos erupted. Gabriel's men were caught off guard, but only for a few seconds as they began to return fire. Sam and Sierra wasted no time in escaping. Although tied up and taped, they were able to make their way behind a stack of wooden pallets, out of the way of the gunfire.

Tyler was with them quickly, killing three men on his way. He didn't have a gun, he was simply using his powers like never before. He used his hands as weapons, aiming them at the enemy and with quick motions launching them into the steel beams and cinder block walls that held up the structure.

Tyler ripped the tape off of the girls mouths. Sierra kissed him, her dry tears visible on her pale white cheeks.
"Give me a gun." Sam said, immediately after she was untied.
"I don't have one." Tyler replied.
Gavin suddenly appeared. He hugged Sam and looked her over for injuries.
"I'm okay." She assured him as she took an AK-47 off his shoulder.

Gavin handed Sierra a 9mm. He looked at the three of them. "You guys ready to get out of here?" He asked with a smile.
They stood and joined the others in the fight. The first thing Sam saw was Casey, carving her way through guys like a woman possessed. She would slide under an attack and slice the next guy waiting. Sam gave her cover, spraying bullets to clear her path.

As Tyler, Sierra, Sam and Gavin made their way to the exit, he appeared. Gabriel stood before them. With one thrust of his arm he sent all four of them flying back. They landed on the cold concrete floor with a sickening thud. Before he could approach to finish them off Shannon ran and jumped onto his back.

In a fury she reached around with her blade and began stabbing him in his chest and shoulders, all while maintaining a chokehold around his neck. Any fear Shannon had of him was long gone and was replaced by rage. All in all if anyone was counting, she stabbed him forty seven times before she was grabbed off by one of his men, who Matt quickly shot and killed. Shannon fell to the ground.

Gabriel was dragged away by three other men to safety leaving a trail of blood in his wake. As Casey ran for Matt a young woman appeared suddenly in front of her. The sight of a young woman in plain clothes threw her off. It took her a few seconds before realizing she was a shifter. The woman stabbed Casey in the abdomen. Frantically she covered the wound with both her hands, which instantly became blood soaked.

The shifter girl was too enamored with her work and didn't see Sam run towards her and plunge her own blade into her spine, rendering the shifter helpless. Sam then took a step back and aimed her rifle at the girl and fired a kill shot to her heart. Matt made his way over and they both pulled Casey behind a row of fifty gallon barrels.

Gavin had seen what was happening and motioned for Tyler. He gave him cover as he made his way to his mom. Kneeling down beside her he took Casey's hand. Matt and Sam provided cover fire. Casey coughed up blood.
"It's okay, mom. It's gonna be okay. I'm here." Tyler told her.
She touched his cheek. This would have been a fatal wound had he not been there.

His hand covered the wound and she was healed in seconds. Casey sat up, her face still pale. "Fuck, that hurt."
"You okay?" Matt asked.
She nodded. "Shifters." She managed to say. "He has shifters."
"Jesus Christ." Matt replied.

Tyler yelled to Gavin and Sierra who were in the thick of it. "Shifters!"
They must have came late to the fight. Now, as Tyler and the others looked around, they could tell the shifters apart. There were some men and some women, all in plain clothes, unlike Gabriel's soldiers dressed in military fatigues.

"We gotta go." Matt said. "We weren't prepared for this."
"We're here." Tyler argued. "Let's stay and finish it!"
"We don't have the dagger, Ty!" Matt said, raising his voice. "Or enough ammo! We go! Now!"
Surprisingly, Sam agreed. They made their way to Gavin and Sierra who was joined by Shannon.

"We're leaving!" Matt yelled over the gun blasts.
Their ears were ringing, it was getting tough to hear. The gun shots seemed louder in the abandoned warehouse.
They shot at the enemy from all angles as they ran to make an open route to the front doors. When the opening came into sight Phil was coming through the door, firing behind them at the approaching men. They were about halfway there when Gabriel landed in front of them. They weren't sure where he had even come from, but there he was.

Tyler cautiously put his arms out as to protect the others. The gunshots had stopped on both sides. Gabriel's men started backing up. He stared menacingly at Tyler. Now his men had started to run away, as if they knew what was coming.
"Run." Tyler said.
"Ty, what? No way." Gavin said.
"Remember in the woods? When our streams met?" He asked. "This is gonna be worse."

Matt gave a look at his son who was locked in on only Gabriel. He had to trust him. Matt pushed the others toward the exit. As soon as they broke into a run Tyler shot a beam of light at Gabriel who retuned the favor. Again, the stream of light met in the middle with both of them pushing hard with both hands to get the advantage.

Phil looked confused as the others ran towards him.
"What the fuck?" Phil said in confusion.
"Go!" Shannon screamed at him.
As they reached the opening Matt looked back and saw Tyler and Gabriel give one last thrust of light at each other. That would be the last thing he saw as a flash of light lit up the sky like an atomic bomb.

Matt and the others were blasted out of the doors and thrown to different parts of the open field. Then there was blackness.
