How can I be this stupid?!
Allah! She must be thinking so wrong of me! That I'm desperate or something...
Oh my Allah, you know that I just missed her so much and a nap seemed good in any way.
We would both rest and I can have her by my side, sleeping peacefully. Now she is sleeping contently and here I am admiring her. I slept for like an hour and woke up to a weight on my chest.
Only to find my wife on top of me, hugging me like a panda and sleeping peacefully, her hair cascading down. Since then, I've been just brushing her hair from her face, which kept disturbing her and she slept like she hadn't for days.
A ringing sound catches my attention and realise it's her phone. I try grabbing it, to turn it off, so that it doesn't wake her up. I shift a little, while securing her with one arm and the other was trying to reach the night stand.
She stirred and I stiffened. The ringing stopped but soon started again. Aaliyah started murmuring something in her sleep and with a final stretch of my arm I finally grabbed the phone. By the time Aaliyah had lifted her head and shifted her eyes to me and then at the phone.
"It's Sadia," I inform her and she sighes, putting her head on my chest, again, and closing her eyes. The ringing stops, but various notifications pop up now. I turn the phone to see, they're from Sadia.
Most of them telling her to pick up. "Liyati, I think it's important if she's calling repeatedly." I caress her hair, slowly.
"Ughhh," Aaliyah groans and snatches the phone from my hand. I should keep in mind to never disturb her sleep. She is quite moody after waking up. "What?!" She directly snaps after picking up, sounding on the verge of breaking the phone.
I can also hear Sadia on the other side of the phone, as Aaliyah is basically lying on top of me. "Where are you girl?! We were supposed to have an online meeting with your henna artist!" She says and Aaliyah facepalms herself.
"Handle it, you would force me to agree on what you want, anyways!" Aaliyah says and is about to hang up when Sadia again asks where she is and complains about Aaliyah being careless.
"At home," My wife replies and a smile creeps up to my lips. "I'm sitting in your room, you're not here!" Sadia shouts.
"I'm at our home and sleeping, BYE!" She hangs up the phone and throws it on the bed, hugging me again and closing her eyes, drifting back to sleep.
The phone rings again and she groans, "Ouahib, please tell her to let me sleep!" Aaliyah requests and changes her position, so that she is not sleeping on me anymore, but sleeping on my side and still holding me close. I miss the warmth her body provided and the feel of her weight on me.
I reach out to the ringing phone and accept, "GIRL! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Sadia shouts in the phone and I have to keep the phone away from my ear to prevent any damage to it.
