Wait what?!
A whole bouquet for Aaliyah?!
Is she already engaged or something?
What am I even thinking?
There I was blushing over a comment an elderly woman made about us.
Us. It sounds too good to be true.
And here she is receiving bouquets? In front of the whole class?
Such a delulu I am.
Why is she receiving a bouquet of flowers in school, you may be asking.
Well as it was Valentine's day, every year one class takes the responsibility of organizing a stall in the breaks.
There you can pre-order a flower mostly for your loved ones at school and on Valentine's day the class goes around distributing the flowers to the ones somebody pre-ordered for.
When you go to the stalls in the break you write a note with the name and class of the one you want it delivered to and just give it ot the ones standing behind the stall.
It's a cute gesture actually and on other occasions like Christmas, it's done also.
Just not with roses but with a chocolate Santa or the same.
Anyways other student got some flowers too.
The famous 'sit on my lap' couple had also pre ordered for each other and they were now jumping around because they didn't expect the other to think of it.
Drama.
But Aaliyah is the center of the attention with her bouquet of flowers.
To pre order one rose and have it given to your loved one costs around 3 Euros which is of course overpriced for a single rose but the classes want to have some profit too.
And after all they're doing the effort of organizing and buying them so no complaints.
So technically Aaliyah's bouquet must be over some 50 Euros.
Interesting.
Somebody giving out so much money for a bouquet of roses, the beautiful wrapping must have cost the person some extra money too.
Anyways why am I over thinking this?
"Ouahib get back to your senses and focus on what's important." My conscience mocks me.
"She's important too." I reply.
What no! Sorry sorry! I meant that she did help me out a lot and....
And yeah it's normal that I try to return her favor.
"By overthinking who gave her the bouquet?" My conscience again questioned.
