"How was pre-school?" I asked, after I have buckled the twins in the back seats.
"It was fun!" Yasmin replied and Narjis nodded, agreeing. "We told Miss Rink about our shopping and she told us, that she likes shopping too!" She added.
I came to the driver's seat and started the car, driving to Aaliyah's university. "All woman like shopping, isn't it?" I asked, as all the woman I know, personally, enjoy shopping a lot.
Sometimes, I think that Jeddi started his clothing business, because Hnna always pestered him, about going to shop.
(Grandpa) (Grandma)"I don't like shopping that much, but I will enjoy, if you all are there!" Yasmin said, leaning forward.
"Yes, it's always fun, with Liya!" Narjis agreed. "You all are going to enjoy together and leave me alone?" I asked, pouting.
"No, you're also going to enjoy with us!" Yasmin replied, nodding her head, as if reassuring me.
"What if I don't enjoy it?" I asked, just to stretch the topic. "Oh come on! When we're going with Liya, it's surely going to be fun!" Narjis replied.
"Sure, it is!" I murmured to myself, as it's true. Where Aaliyah is, there will be fun.
After some more minutes, we reached her university and had to park the car far away, as there were no empty parking lots near the university.
We walked towards the entrance and waited. I dropped her a message that we're waiting, as it was past her off time.
Narjis and Yasmin were jumping out of excitement, when we spotted her with another hijabi.
I took the hands of the two girls and crossed the road to her. As soon as we crossed the road, Narjis and Yasmin ran, towards Aaliyah and as usual she bent down to receive their hug.
I kept my gaze lowered because of the other hijabi, but as soon as she spoke, she arose suspension. "Well, well, well, we finally get to meet the Prince charming!" She kind of taunted.
Why does she sound so familiar? Even when she was walking towards us, with Aaliyah, there was something familiar about her.
I raised my eyes, only to be met with a shock. Isabella? Wait, how? She wasn't a hijabi?!
"Asalamu Alaikum! And, I have converted four and a half months ago, Alhamdulilah!" She answered my unasked question.
"Oh! Waalaikum Asalam, I'm so happy for you!" I congratulated her, happily. It amazes me, how fast our Deen is growing.
"Thank you!" She replied, "So you finally took the step, huh?" She teased.
"Oh well, maybe you weren't that wrong," I confessed, sheepishly. Isabella was one of the very first who noticed my care and liking for Aaliyah.
