Chapter 2

After Louise got home, fed the cat and ate she took a nice hot shower and went to watch Netflix in bed. Xena jumped on the bed for strokes. 'Hmmm some Friends will do, 'Louise thought and pressed the remote. She lay back and thought about what had happened at the store with Brendon , as the familiar intro to Friends started. Louise smiled to herself as she thought about Brendon and the comfort she got from Friends.

Louise woke up the next morning a little later than usual. She had a few days off now, so there was no need to rush. Louise checked her phone and noticed she had a text from an unfamiliar number.
Hi, it's Brendon. I wondered if you would like to hang out today?
Sure. That would be great. What did you have in mind?
Coffee and see where the day takes us.
Cool. The coffee shop near the mall? In an hour?
Sounds good. See you then. Brendon replied

Louise went to get ready and headed out to the coffee shop. It was a nice day, so she decided to walk. Louise had her long brown hair down today, as she always had to wear it up for work. She was dressed casually in leggings a Friends T-shirt and Vans.
As Louise approached the coffee shop she could feel butterflies in her tummy. She didn't know why though. Walking in Louise looked around but Brendon wasn't here yet. She ordered a large latte and sat down.
Brendon walked in as Louise sipped her drink and scrolled through TikTok. Brendon put his order in and approached Louise.
"Hey", he said.
"Oh hey. You ok?" Louise asked, putting her phone away.
Brendon said he was good and went to collect his order. He returned and him and Louise chatted. They got to know each other. Before they knew it 2 hours and 3 coffees later, it was nearly lunchtime.

"Wow it's lunchtime" Louise laughed.
"Time flies when you have good company." Brendon said looking at Louise. He took her hand in his and kissed it, making Louise blush a little. Louise looked at Brendon with his gorgeous brown eyes beautiful hair and lucious plump lips, wondering how they would feel on hers. Brendon got up from their table and kept hold of her hand as they left.
"I have enjoyed this morning Louise." Brendon said. Louise agreed with him and he suddenly stopped and put his hands around her waist. Brendon licked his lips, his eyes flicking between Louise's eyes and lips. Louise held her breath as she started to close the gap between them. Their lips met and it was like 4th of July fireworks behind their eyes. They both pulled away.
"Wow." They both said at the same time and laughed.
"Can I take you for lunch somewhere?" Brendon asked.
"Sure." She answered.
