As things started to ease in the world, Louise wanted to cook a meal, for her and Brendon. Besides they needed pet supplies too. Brendon was in the studio.
Louise left a post it note on the fridge, telling him where she had gone. Giving kisses to all the pets, Louise picked her bag, phone and car keys up.
As Louise drove to the supermarket, she had the sunroof open and was blasting some Paramore. It felt good to leave the house and do something they had taken for granted previously.
Pulling into the parking lot, Louise switched off the engine, took her sunglasses off and put a face mask on. She hated doing it, as it was uncomfortable, but needs must. Checking her phone she saw a text from Brendon. He asked her to pick a few things up.
Pushing her trolley, Louise entered Walmart and started shopping. About halfway round, she felt like she was being watched. Louise looked around, but there was nothing but other shoppers, wearing their masks. Louise shrugged it off and continued shopping.
Packing the shopping into the trunk of her car, Louise returned the trolley(she didn't want the cart narc to approach her 😉) and got into her car. Paramore blasted through the car again and off she went, back home. Again, leaving the parking lot, she felt like she was being watched. On the way home Louise checked the rear view mirror more than usual. Nothing unusual, 3 cars behind her. Turning into their driveway, Louise parked up. Brendon opened the door. That's when Louise noticed a car slow down a little and then speed off. She couldn't get the licence plate.
"Who was that?" Brendon asked.
"No idea" Louise shrugged. She started unloading the car and so did Brendon.

Later on in the day Brendon took Bogart and Penny Lane for a walk whilst Louise started on dinner.
As he walked towards the local dog park, he saw the car again. He managed to get a licence plate. He started to walk towards the car, but whoever was driving, reversed and drove off again, before Brendon could reach it.
After 20 minutes, Brendon headed back home with the 2 dogs.
He didn't tell Louise about what he witnessed yet as he didn't want to worry her unnecessarily.
Louise was cooking dinner when they got back. She had even put the pets food out. Brendons phone started to ring as he hung the dogs leads up on the hook.
"Hello" He answered "Oh hey Pete" and he walked into the living room.
Louise carried on making dinner. She dished up and called Brendon. They both sat down at the dining table.
"Pete wants me to help him with something." Brendon said.
"Oh, ok" Louise replied.
"I will be gone 2 days max. Will you be ok here? " Louise looked at Brendon and smiled.
"Baby I will be fine. I used to live alone, remember?" Louise chuckled. She took hold of Brendons hand. "Besides I have these guys too." She gestured to the pets.
"When are you leaving?"
"Tomorrow."Brendon said and caressed Louise's face.
They both tidied up after dinner and snuggled on the sofa. They watched a film together, then went to bed, where they had their last night together for a couple of days.
