Chapter 5

TRIGGER WARNING. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ABUSE!!

Louise realised that she needed to be honest with Brendon, about everything. After the picnic she was 100 percent sure that Brendon felt the same way about her.
So, one evening she invited him over to talk. Louise needed to put her cards on the table.
As they both sat down Louise took a sip of tea and began.
"Brendon, I am in love with you" Louise was surprised that those actual words came out of her. They were not what she had practiced in her head.
Brendon looked at her. She expected him to get up and exit quickly. But no, he looked into her eyes and put his hands on her cheeks. Brendon leaned forward and kissed Louise. Again there were fireworks. They broke apart and Brendon said " I have loved you from the moment we met Louise"
"Oh wow, me too" Louise smiled and kissed him again. This time it got a bit more heated. Tongues lightly touching. All that could be heard was their soft moans. A bell jingling broke the kiss as Xena had come in through the catflap.
She looked at Louise, meowed and went into the kitchen. Louise got up to feed Xena. Brendon followed her and slipped his arms around her waist, from behind as she dished out some food for Xena.
Brendon kissed the nape of Louise's neck, which sent shivers down her spine.
Louise turned to look at Brendon.
" I need to tell you about my past" Louise said.

Karl walked into the apartment. He had been for a few beers. He had convinced himself that Louise was cheating on him.
Louise was cooking dinner and bending down to stroke Xena, every now and again. She heard the front door slam and knew that this would not end good. Sighing she closed her eyes opened them and smiled as Karl walked in.
"Hey hon, how was work?" She asked.
"Never mind work you bitch! You are cheating on me!" He yelled. Karl had accused her of many things, but cheating was a new one. Louise was taken aback by this.
Karl backed her into the corner of the kitchen. He was inches away from her face. He kept shouting about how she was cheating on him. Spit flying in her face.
Before Louise could start to defend herself, Karl grabbed her by the hair and pulled Louise into the living room. Louise cried with pain.
"I will give you something to cry for, fucking whore!"
Karl started raining down punches onto Louise. She tried to protect herself, but it was impossible as he punched so hard and quick.
Louise could taste blood, and started to feel dizzy. Karl then kicked her in the stomach. Everything started to go black. Louise wondered if this was it for her. Had Karl finally managed to kill her?
