Chapter 11

Brendon left for Petes early the next morning. Louise was still asleep. He kissed her forehead and left her a note.

Louise woke up to Xena on the bed with her. She wanted her breakfast. Louise got up and fed her and the dogs. She made herself a coffee and went to sit out by the pool. She read the note Brendon left and smiled.
The 2 dogs came out and laid beside where Louise was sat.
Louise was deciding what to do with her day when her phone rang. It was Grace.
"Hey Grace" Louise said.
"Hey Lou. Fancy meeting up today?" Grace asked.
"Sure." Louise replied.
The 2 made plans to meet up. Louise got up to get ready. She showered and decided to wear leggings and a Stitch t-shirt. She wore her blue vans. Louise put her hair into a ponytail and put a little make up on.
Louise grabbed her things and went out the door to meet Grace.

Louise drove to the coffee shop and got a surprise. Katie and Annie were there too. After coffee they went to the mall, to go shopping. Louise had the uneasy feeling she was being watched again. She was too busy having fun with her girlfriends to look around. She dismissed it and carried on shopping. Louise's phone rang and it was Brendon. She answered and spoke to him. Her girlfriends all shouted down the phone "we miss you!" And start laughing. Louise giggled and went off to a quiet corner to chat with Brendon.
"Hey baby" He said into the phone.
"Hi". Louise smiled. "I miss you already. I am just out with the girls. A bit of retail therapy."
"I heard" He laughed. "I miss you too baby." He sighed into the phone, when Louise could hear Pete calling Brendon from somewhere in the background.
"I have to go Lou. I will call you tonight, ok?"
"Ok. I love you" Louise said.
"I love you too babe. Bye" and they both hung up.
Louise and her friends decided to get some lunch and then went their separate ways. Louise had enjoyed her outing and it had taken a few hours out of her day, instead of missing Brendon and lounging around the house.

Once home, Louise came through the door to 8 paws coming towards her. Penny Lane and Bogart gave her kisses. Louise laughed and went into the kitchen, to feed them and Xena. After that she took her shopping upstairs and
changed into some sweats. Louise decided to do a few chores. Laundry, sweep the floors and loaded the dishwasher. Eventually she flopped down on the sofa with a glass of wine. Turning on the TV, she went for Disney Plus. Greys Anatomy sounded good. So she settled down to watch it.

As Louise got up to make herself some dinner, that car was outside the driveway again. She frowned and was about to go outside when her phone rang. Brendon again.
Louise smiled and went to her bedroom to talk to him.
