Yashasvi knew about an ex of Divya . He also knew how much she liked that guy . He had heard her talking fondly about them , the way she smiled when she mentioned his name, and the sparkle in her eyes that twinkled brightly has always made him feel uneasy for some reason . They had dated for almost two years

So when Divya returned to the Rajasthan Royals with a promotion as a team leader and the lack of smile . Everyone came to know that the boy , Garv or whatever his name was had cheated on the sweet girl .

The news had shattered her world. She was devastated, and the heartbreak was written all over her face. She tried to hold herself together, but the betrayal was too much for her to bear. The pain and sorrow consumed her, leaving her a shadow of her former self.

When Yashasvi learned about the guy cheating on her, he wasn’t surprised. He had always suspected that the guy was too smooth, too charming to be true. He remembered thinking that "How can someone doubt or accuse the people they love " , when he overheard Divya arguing on Video chat with him .

After Divya’s heartbreak, Yashasvi kept his distance. He didn't want to get involved in the emotional aftermath. He avoided her, not out of indifference, but because he wasn't sure how to handle the situation .

They had never been friends, and he didn't know if he could offer any meaningful comfort as he , himself had never gone through such emotions. She didn't try to initiate any conversation with him , just did her job and left him on his own avoiding having a conversation or even a quarrel with him

He knew he would sprout something unbearable from his mouth if he would talk with her .

He couldn't help her but he could make things easy for her

So he did his best trying to help her by avoiding.

He sympathized with her even though he had never gone through such things . He knew how it felt when your whole world came tumbling down

Hence , he watched from the sidelines as she tried to piece her life back together, feeling a pang of guilt for ignoring and avoiding her but convincing himself it was for the best.

Yashasvi never really thought that Divya would be afraid or scared of something because he had tried multiple times.  Scurrying over by the unspoken boundaries,  he had never found one .

But , for the first time , Yashasvi saw the look of fear on her face for the first time at the airport. 

The look on her face made him terrified for some reason which had also resulted in him calling Kriti without a second thought .
