A few days later, the Indian cricket team arrived in Visakhapatnam for the second test match in the series. The coastal city welcomed them with its warm breeze and scenic views, a stark contrast to the tense atmosphere between Divya and Yashasvi. Since their argument in the garden, the two had been avoiding each other, their interactions limited to necessary professional exchanges.
As the Indian cricket team continued their practice sessions in Visakhapatnam, Divya and Yashasvi found themselves avoiding each other whenever possible. Despite their earlier playful banter, the tension from their argument still lingered between them, making their interactions strained and awkward.
Divya focused on her duties as the team's physiotherapist, ensuring that the players were in top physical condition for the upcoming match. She kept herself busy with treatments, massages, and rehabilitation exercises, trying to stay away from Yashasvi as much as possible.
Yashasvi, on the other hand, threw himself into his batting practice with renewed determination. He spent hours at the nets, fine-tuning his technique and analyzing his mistakes from the previous match. But no matter how hard he tried to focus on cricket, thoughts of his argument with Divya continued to distract him.
Despite their efforts to avoid each other, there were moments when their paths crossed inevitably. Whether it was during team meetings, meals, or on the field, Divya and Yashasvi found themselves exchanging curt nods or brief, polite greetings before quickly moving on.
As the night before the next test match approached, tensions were running high among the team. Divya and Yashasvi both felt the weight of the upcoming match bearing down on them, knowing that their performance could make or break the series.
That evening, as the team gathered for meeting before a team dinner , Divya found herself seated across the table from Yashasvi. The atmosphere was tense, with everyone lost in their own thoughts about the match. The meeting had ended a few minutes ago and everyone were going through various strategies before the big games .Divya tried to focus on her files , avoiding Yashasvi's gaze as much as possible.
Yashasvi, however, couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled over him in Divya's presence. He stole glances at her from across the table, noting the tense set of her shoulders and the way she avoided meeting his eyes.
