i got up and headed to the bathroom, taking a steamy shower. i let the warm water run down my body, it was so refreshing first thing in the morning. after showering i put on some shorts and a simple tank top. i walked back into my room, drying my hair with a towel. my phone began ringing on my nightstand, i glanced at the caller. cora.
"hello?" i answered.
"morning! i was just wondering if you were doing anything today?" she said over the phone.
"i was gonna stay in today...i have a lot of studying to do for my exams tomorrow." i explained as i sat on the edge of my bed. "why? what's up?"
"oh i was just gonna go into downtown san diego, there's a lot there and thought it'd be fun, but if you're busy don't worry about it..." she said with a soft tone.
"sounds so tempting, but i can't afford to fail these exams." i said.
"don't worry about it, just study and kick those exams asses! you got this." she said with a tone full of encouragement.
