THIRD POV

Cream rushed through the bushes, trying to get to Angel Island since it was closest to her location. Cream looked up to the sacred island and prayed to God that Knuckles was there. "KNUCKLES! I NEED YOUR HELP!" cried Cream. Knuckles heard her, and flew down to the young rabbit. "Cream?! What's wrong? Is it Sonic?" asked Knuckles.

"Yes, but... no." answered Cream. Knuckles tilted his head in confusion. "My mama was killed by someone named EXE, and this EXE guy also possessed Sonic. After he killed my mama, Sonic fought it and won, but ran away saying that it wasn't safe to be near him. I found him, and he looked like he was afraid of me. I said that I wasn't going to hurt him but he said that he was afraid he was going to hurt me. I tried to calm him down and help him, but he Chaos Controlled away. I was really worried about him, so I came to find you since you, Amy, and Tails are his closest friends." explained Cream.

"Hm... very unlike Sonic. He never doubts himself." processed Knuckles. "Yeah, so I was worried. Do you think he's okay?" asked Cream. "He only doubts himself when it's really bad, or he's done something really bad... I don't think he is. I'm going to call Tails and Amy..." he paused. "Do you have a phone?"

Cream nodded and handed Knuckles her phone. He called Tails first, knowing he'd want to be the first to hear about something being wrong with his big brother. "Cream?" asked Tails once he answered the phone. "No, it's Knuckles." replied Knuckles. "Knuckles?! Is something wrong with the island? Is Eggman attacking Sonic and you two need my help?" asked Tails. "No, nothing's wrong with the island..." answered Knuckles, his face showing concern.

"Something's wrong with Sonic."

Tails was immediately worried. "I'm on my way to get Amy NOW, meet us at my workshop." replied Tails. He hung up on Knuckles. "I'm going to Tails's workshop." said Knuckles. "Okay! Please find Sonic and make sure he's okay!" replied Cream. "Will do." agreed Knuckles, taking off and starting to glide towards the general direction of Tails's workshop.
