The next morning I was awoken to the sounds of Potts and pants clanking in the kitchen. I rolled out of bed and shoved a shirt on before heading downstairs to see Tommy in the kitchen trying to be as quiet as possible.

" good morning sweetheart. Sorry I was gonna surprise you with breakfast " Tommy says

I smile as I walk up to Tommy giving him a kiss.

" I'd still love that " I said

Tommy blushes. I head to the fridge and grab the coffee and tea out. I put some on and went to sit at the island as we wait.

" I was gonna make eggs. How do you take yours ?" Tommy asks

" I don't care either way. Up to you " I said

"Sounds good " Tommy says

" hey, umm can I talk to you about something " I said nervously

" of course. What's up?" Tommy asks

" Umm " I said as my voice started to get shakey

" hey Evan. It's okay whatever you tell me. I won't be mad " Tommy reassures me.

" I have had feelings for Eddie. They are gone now. I just thought you should know. Eddie doesn't know and I was planning on telling him in the next free days. I just wanted you to hear it from me first. " I say

The kettle went off. I got up and went to the store right as Tommy was turning the stove off. I move the kettle off the burner and look at Tommy.

" Evan. I'm not mad at you about having feelings for someone. Fuck I thought Eddie was attractive when I first met the man. This won't change how I feel about you. " Tommy says

I smile.

" want some tea ?" I ask

" sure " Tommy says smiling at me. Tommy reaches behind me and grabs the kettle. I grab two cups and place them down and go grab the teabags.

"I only have English breakfast " I said

" perfect" Tommy tells me.

" you alright? With you know.. yesterday and everything" Tommy said

" Im fine. I promise babe' I tell Tommy 

" How is your arm?" Tommy asks 

My arm still the bandage around it. Sometimes I forget I had a bandage on it. I unwrapped the bandage and took the gauze off my arm. I placed the bandage beside me and looked down. The lines were fading now. Tommy ran his fingers over the lines. 

" Did you feel anything?" Tommy asks 

" A little bit it wasn't bad since its been a few days" I said

" thats good." Tommy says

I give Tommy  a kiss goodbye before he headed off to work. I shut the door behind him and headed into the kitchen. Grabbing my phone off the island I sat down and called Eddie.

I put the phone on speaker as I start to clean the stove off.

" Hey buck" Eddie says

" hey! You busy this morning?" I ask

" nope. Why what's up?" Eddie asks

" can ummm can I stop by. I need to talk to you about something " I said

" of course. Come by whenever " Eddie says

" thanks. See you soon" I say

I finished cleaning and went to change. I hurried downstairs and grabbed my phone and keys and headed out the door. I got to my car and got in. I turned on some music before heading off to Eddies house. I parked outside and finished listening to the song before getting out and walking to knock on the door. I wait a few moments. I can hear the birds chirping in the trees and Eddies new wind chime I hadn't no idea he had.
