During the marriage most of the time Charita did not even try to look into his face but whenever she looked, there was only hate and disgust! He thought that it was better not to look into her face at all as the hateful expression in her face was quite disturbing to him. One other thing also has become quite evident to him as soon as he came into contact with Charita for the marriage purpose. The marital life between them both was not going to be so much happy as he was dreaming about it. He just did not how he could think that Charita would lead a normal marital life with one of her gang-rapists? In fact he has to feel lot of surprise that she agreed to the marriage itself.

During the marriage and after marriage also, she did not allow even his mother also to talk with her. As soon as the marriage was over she went straight to her house with her parents. His mother went to her home to talk with her and make her to come to their home but she did not even allow his mother to see her.

"Her parents said that they do try to change her mind and send her here as soon as possible. But I am not feeling any surprise at all for her behaviour like that. Any girl would behave only in such a way after facing such an atrocity."

One full month has passed but there was no change in Charita's attitude but her parents also came to his home and said to him sooner or later their daughter would come to his home to live along with him. They also said that they were planning to take her to a reputed psychiatrist to get some change in her. He did not know whether they have taken her to any psychiatrist or not as he got a small job in the nearby town and everyday leaving the house early in the morning and coming only in the night.

To be frank, he was not wishing too much that Charita should come and love along with him in his house. By considering what he did to her with other two guys and her attitude during the marriage and after that, he was not thinking that he could live happily along with her at any point of time in his future.

It was Sunday and he was all alone in the home sitting in a chair in the hall as his mother went into the village on some work. All sorts of thoughts were troubling him then and feeling bad as it was Sunday. If it was some working day he could go to his office, engage himself in the work and escape from his troubling thoughts. While he was so he heard the thumping on the doors of that house. He surprised! His mother said that it would take time to her to complete work and return to home, who it could be then? He went and opened the doors wide after unlatching while trying to guess who it could be. When he found the person stood on the other side of the doorsill, his mouth dropped open! He could not expect it at all! It was Charita!

"You....it is you........." he did not know how he said it like that and his voice shivered while he was saying it so.

"I know that you don't expect me to come like this." Looking straight into his face, Charita said. "Anyhow may I come in?"

"Please, please come inside." He gave her the way to come inside of his house while his heart was with full of shock and surprise.

"Where is your mother? Is she is in kitchen?" Looking at the four sides of the house she asked.

"She went into the village and it takes time to her return." Even he was feeling surprise why Charita came like that, he was feeling happy also.

She went near to the chair he just vacated and slumped herself in it. "I think that you may be feeling so happy that I came like this. You may be assuming in yourself that I have come here to start my marriage life with you." She said while looking at him.

"Even in my wildest imagination also I cannot think like that." Sighing heavily Anirudh said. "No girl can live happily with one of her gang-rapists."

"It seems you know very well how a girl feels after a gang-rape." She was still looking into his face and said. "Then how could you do it like that to me?"
