"Mmmm."

Shouta was on cloud nine when he twitched at the quiet hum leaving his husband beneath him. The darkness of the room amplifying the quiet sounds of hands wandering over his skin with quiet brushes. The feel of the warm, humid air puffing through the window. The quiet sound of the fan they placed in it running. Soft rustlings as they fidgeted under the half kicked at comforter. The quiet hum leaving his husband was deafening in the silence of their bedroom. The jingle of wind chimes outside just barely reaching his ears.

The breaths being taken between himself and his husband. The quiet creak of the mattress when they shifted and rolled over it mixing with the brush of moving lips. Hands slid up and down his back in a slow, easy circuit that slipped under his tank top as he felt a bead of sweat welling on the back of his neck under his hair. He really ought to pull it up; it was hotter tonight that it had been the previous few days of the week. Hotter for early June. A promise that this summer would be hotter than the last.

Slow, even breaths fanned over his uncomfortably hot cheek as he sprawled out over his husband's chest. Straddling his waist and he was hot. It was the only reason he was awake right now; they'd yet to get the AC set up as they thought they'd have more time. They thought they'd have so much more time before the heat of June could begin to grab them in a strange hold but tonight proved them wrong. Even poor Eri had come knocking at their doors with the pleading whine of something cool to drink.

To help cooler her off before he brought her back to her bed where he fussed with her own fan. It had been gathering slowly during the days that heat and the nights had been pleasantly warm but tonight? God, it was fucking hot tonight. It made it insufferable to cuddle with his husband and that left him awake. Keyed up without the feel of his husband curled into his back or into his chest. Without the feel of Hizashi beneath his cheek. His hair had frizzed out at some point in the night from the humidity.

He'd woken up in a clammy sweat after a few hours. His husband, for once, seemed to be in the same boat. He could only be happy it would be Sunday and not Monday. The quiet brush of his husband's soft palms moving over his skin had him melting into his chest but the sweat gathering on the back of his neck and his lower back did little to help him relax. The blanket rested over Hizashi's knees and his feet from the last time he'd looked. The caress of soft lips moving against his rang out in the quiet of the room with that soft brush.

He could spend the rest of his night just like this. Well, save for the heat. He was half tempted to ask Hizashi to turn the AC on rather than wait for the morning like they agreed too. Hands slid up and down his upper back with fingers skimming over his lower back which rubbed away the drops of sweat forming there. He was unbearably clammy with the heat of the night weighing heavily on his skin. He shifted the placement of his hand with a grunt as the fitted sheet rustled beneath them when he felt a hand lifting to tuck his hair behind his ear.

Knew his husband had to be hotter with him sprawled out on top of him, but the blonde had yet to complain. Moving his lips with those soft ones, he felt fingers skimming along the edge of his ear. His jaw. Then it was returning to his back to rest over his shirt with fingers plucking idly at the fabric of it. The other buried beneath it rolled soothing circles between his shoulder blades. It was insufferable having even his thin tank top on and his boxers; he was drowning under the heat as he fought that urge to rock his hips down.

Not yet. Moving his lips with Hizashi's to return that idle warmth as they melted against his. Molding to shape and curve with that familiar touch as arms tightened around him in a squeeze when he felt hips twitching up against him. The quiet brush of their moving lips was deafening in the silence when he felt hips arching up to rock idly against him. Rocking against him in a gentle sway that had his lashes fluttering on his cheeks when he found a lock of silky hair that he twirled absent mindedly with a light tug.
