A bit of a warning but Shouta will officially be brought to his status right now which is that his eye and right leg are gone and from now on he'll have a prosthetic leg. It was about time I upgraded his looks in this fic! But I hope that you all enjoy the chapter and the previous chapters! Until we meet again ❤️

Hizashi wasn't a man brought easily to tears. He was emotionally, yes, but to be brought to true tears? It hadn't happened in a while. He didn't cry so much that he thought of himself as a crybaby but there were quite a few times in recent memory when he'd teared up. When Eri had finally begun calling him Daddy and referring to him as her father when he would pick her up at school. When Sterling had finally begun curling up in his lap. Whenever Shouta looked at him with that tender, smitten look before he was murmuring his love.

Moments when tears pricked in his eyes. There had been times in their past that he had been reduced to a sobbing mess both drunk and in his years of sobriety. It was impossible not to. But in recent times there had been so much joy, so much happiness , that save for their anniversary he'd yet to cry. To tear up. And yet there always seemed to be a way for life to come in. To rip the carpet out from under his feet with its cruelty. With the unfairness of the world. That so much joy couldn't keep them afloat.

In the days following their scene, his husband had been euphorically happy. A joy that radiated out of him when he had the man sprawled out on his lap as he rubbed vitamin E lotion into the angry red lines he'd left behind on the backs of his thighs and the inner area. Shouta, it seemed, was a glutton for pain. He seemed to love his cane whippings more because they "stayed longer" in his words. He'd not had a problem with taking care of his husband as he helped him recuperate in the aftermath of their scene.

He had taken the chance to begin showering him in all the aftercare he could ever want and deserve from him. He'd been happy to let Shouta curl up in his arms where he was content to stay. Let him play with his hair while he rubbed that lotion into the backs of his thighs. The inner area where the cane marks were redder than the back. He knew it was from his husband's thighs rubbing together from all of his walking and running. He knew it and did his best to make sure he was wearing softer fabrics.

Rubbing the lotion into his skin periodically throughout the day with checks on them to make sure there was no bleeding. He'd gone above and beyond to make sure that his husband was comfortable as he could be with the welts left behind. He'd been worried at how puffy they were that night after their scene when he'd been cleaning Shouta up. The way they seemed to double the next day. He'd done his best to keep calm as he rubbed the lotion into him only to breathe a sigh of relief when they went down the second day.

His husband didn't whine or fuss once when it came to the lotion being rubbed on the clearly sensitive areas. In fact, the black-haired man seemed to relish in it each time he had him go to the bedroom. Each time he had him sprawled out in his lap with his pants pulled down around his knees. Aftercare, he had long since found, was something that was a very much present part in their life. Days after their scenes, it remained a part of their routine. After their usual romps of "normal" sex together. He loves aftercare.

He loves pampering his husband with kisses and cuddles that had the man melting in his hold. He loves soaping up his loofah and scrubbing gently at his husband's skin until the man was leaning against the wall on shaking legs. When he was swaying when he scrubbed his hair. He loves how aftercare melted his husband through. He loves it just as much as he loves the planning and preparation they did before diving head first into a scene. Into a new option off of their list. They both adored the aftercare afterwards.
