|||THIRD POV|||

You had gotten the role as an extra simply because Danielle didn't want to have an intimate scene with anyone else, then the fans happened to like your character, so you've had a few more cameos.

Then, for Hope and Lizzie to have their romance, your character was cut out. You still visited set, however somehow you had turned into the coffee erand girl.

You didn't mind it put smiles in everyone's faces when most arrived early and grumpy, but today just wasn't your day.

Danielle was busy and had plenty of scenes to shoot as well as stunts to do, which was much more time-consuming than one would imagine.

You loved seeing her work, and it offered a moment of respite from your hazy mind, but it didn't cure the chaos in your mind.

You couldn't focus, and your mind kept jumping from one thing to another, and you had done twenty tasks and finished none.

You were getting frustrated with yourself and had no idea how to just stop and get a break. It was lunchtime, and you agreed to do a takeaway run without realising it, and when you got to the place, your mind had gone blank.

You went in and stood in the line, slightly swaying in an attempt to calm yourself but you couldn't stop thinking about your cat from second grade then you couldn't stop trying to recall the names of all your pets you've had before.

When it was your turn to order, you couldn't remember any order and could only think about the fact that mountain lions don't roar. They meow just like a normal house cat.

You gave the lady an apologetic smile, then walked back to the car, got into the backseat, and sunk down, letting out a groan of frustration.

Your phone rang, and you answered it despite the urge to throw it out the window.

"Yeah?" You answered distractedly.

"Baby?" Danielle's voice made you perk up, shifting to sit upright.

"Hey DanDan," you sighed, leaning your head back against the headrest.

"Hi sweetie, I just wanted to find out if you're okay?" Danielle was always good at picking up on a change in your moods. She had also always been incredibly patient, which you appreciated beyond words.

Your mind went blank as you clenched your jaw and blinked faster, hoping the tears wouldn't fall.

"Mountain lions meow like house cats." Your voice cracked, which gave away the state you were in.

"You overwhelmed?" Danielle knew you often thought of random facts you liked as a way to comfort yourself and try to find respite from the racing thoughts.

"Yeah," you breathed out, gulping at the tears rushing in a more steady flow.

"Don't have a heart attack, I'm walking up to the car now," Danielle said, and you nodded, hanging up, not even questioning it.

You were still surprised when she knocked on the window and opened the door.

"Oh my sweetheart," Danielle shuffled in and pulled you into her arms, letting you cry into her neck.

"I don't know what's going on, I didn't mean to take so long," you cried silently messily, wiping at the tears on your cheeks.

"It's okay, baby, I just wanted to come make sure you were okay," She pressed a kiss against your head. "I don't like when you drive distracted," Danielle reminded you, and although you loved that she cared, you started crying again, feeling like a burden.

"I'm sorry for keeping you out of work, I don't mean to be so distracted today," you apologised, gulping when she pulled out of the hug.

"Y/n," She spoke firmly as she took your face in her hands, making sure your attention was on her before she spoke.

"There is absolutely nothing to apologise for. We all have our days." She kissed your pouting lips smiling when the corner of your lip tugged.

"Yeah, but I didn't get the right amount of coffee this morning, then I added salt into the coffee, then I put the milk in the trash instead of the fridge, then I put Kaylee's breakfast in the closet, and then I--"

"Breathe baby," Danielle shook her head, giving you a gentle smile that made you puff but breathe in and out. "That's it," She encouraged with a peck on your nose.

"I'm done for the day. Do you want to go home and just be lazy?" Danielle suggested, and you nodded slowly.

"But what about lunch?" You worried again, and Danielle only pulled you into a passionate kiss, her lips the perfect distraction from all your piling worries.

"I love you, and I love that you care about others so much, but sometimes you need to prioritise yourself," Danielle reprimanded gently.

"Beside Jenny already offered to order." You breathed a sigh of relief.

"Let's go home. When we get there, we'll have our left-over pizza and then cuddle," Danielle suggested, and this time, you gave her a passionate kiss.

"Sounds like the best plan you've had all day," you nodded, eager to get into the passenger seat, knowing she wouldn't let you drive in this state of mind.
