 CW: homophobia

True to Shinsou's word, directly across the hallway from the alpha was a tall alpha woman in about her early fifties. She looked as though she was casually wiping off her brass nameplate, but she immediately turned to the young couple as Shinsou set Denki down gently to unlock his apartment door. It was obvious she had been waiting for someone to gossip with. Shinsou tried to open the door faster, but instead, of course, this was the one day his key just didn't want to fit into the lock.

"You got married, Shinsou? Where was my invitation?" She asked in a faux-hurt voice. Denki giggled, and Kayama greeted the omega with a hug as though they hadn't just met fifteen seconds before.

"Must've been lost in the mail, Kayama-san." Shinsou's reply was curt, but he liked his neighbor. She was fun for a fifty-something-year-old. The alpha hid a smile, excited to introduce Denki to someone. The omega had yet to meet Shinsou's dads, but that was mostly because meeting them would mean a road trip of at least an hour and neither boy really had the time. Denki was also worried that meeting Hitoshi's parents would mean a visit to his own, and he wasn't sure anyone was ready for that. The Todorokis had offered to stand in as parents in that scenario, so that was a comforting thought.

"This is my boyfriend of three months, Denki Kaminari," Shinsou grinned proudly.

Nemuri pinched the alpha's cheeks. "Glad you finally found someone. I was worried I'd see you die alone. Should I go take a walk for a few hours or are you two relatively calm right now?" She asked this with a mischievous grin, and Shinsou turned red.

"We were just gonna cuddle and watch a movie or two," Shinsou replied, trying to save face in front of Denki. He went back to unlocking the door, and the key went in, finally.

"Ah, Netflix and chill. I'm familiar with the term. I'll go if you don't think you can keep the noise down."

Hitoshi groaned and opened his apartment door for Denki, who walked in with wide eyes. The alpha shut the door on the woman's face, which sported a smug grin. "Try to keep it down in there," she called one last time as the door closed.

"Just to clarify," Shinsou started as Denki took in their surroundings, "I want our first time to be special and romantic and not after the kink talk and a conversation with my neighbor."

Denki nodded, "Me too." Hitoshi hugged Denki from the back, resting his chin on his boyfriend's shoulder and trying to look at his apartment through the omega's eyes.

It was big for an apartment. It had cost almost as much as a penthouse, and was nearly the same size as one, but there was only one bedroom and the rest of the space was "luxury at its finest," according to the website. Shinsou had liked his decorations before. They were minimalistic and really just consisted of a spot of cool color- deep purple, dark green, or a royal blue- here and there in mostly black, white, and grey rooms. Now he was worried that it was too boring. Denki was bright and colorful, not dark and monotonous. There was no way he was going to like the decor. Shit, he was going to have to come up with an excuse-

"I love it," Denki decided. "It's so you. I could totally live here." The omega stopped himself, realizing what he'd said. "Or- uh- you know-" The blond boy was a bright red, stuttering a ton and trying to escape the figurative hole he was digging. Hitoshi barely noticed, thankful that Kaminari didn't hate his decor.

Shinsou spun Denki around by the waist, looking into the omega's eyes. His face was completely serious. "One day, you will totally live here." He held out his pinky finger. "Promise?"

Denki giggled at the childish gesture, then hooked his own pinky around the alpha's. "Promise."

"Stay right here." Shinsou told Denki as he walked into his bedroom. He stepped into his closet and pulled out a fluffy white blanket. When he walked back into the living room, Denki was gone (he'd seen that coming) and he could hear a high-pitched squeal coming from the kitchen.
