Whirlwind~Lo'ak Sully

-Chapter 9: Spirit Tree-

Kiri, Lo'ak and I were heading towards the spirit tree. Today is the day that I could connect with the spirit tree. I was walking side by side with Lo'ak talking and laughing. "You know your cute when you laugh." He said. I blushed and mumbled a tanks as we entered the clearing to the spirit tree.

I looked at it in awe, how wonderful it was, it was sight. We climbed up to the spirit tree, Kiri was touching the leafs that were hanging down grabbing some. "Okay Sey'ean lets connect to the spirit tree."

She instructed me to take my braid and connect it to the leafs she had in her hands. I slowly took my braid and held it up as it connected with the tree and my vision went white.

I was walking around the old home tree, I could see people who died, the Olo'eyktan before Jake and before him. I saw warriors from different clans wearing decorive items. I saw the women from my vision. Koranu. I went up to her.

She turned around and smiled. "You have grown to a beautiful lady."

"Thank you?" I questioned a little. "You are Koranu right?"

She nodded. "I am, and you are?"

"Sey'ean." I said

"Whats your full name?" She asked

"I-" I paused. "I do not know."

She nodded. "I know what your full name is, I know you were taken as a child."

"What is it? Can you tell me how I was taken." I asked

"Yes, Your mother and father never had a change to name you but your middle name would be Laylan."

"What about my last name?" I ask

"That is for you to find out by yourself." She said. "Now sit why dont I tell you the story."

We sat down on rocks as she began telling the story. "I remember it very clearly to the day, you were just 2, when sky people came into our clan demanded to see the children in the clan."

"We had to show them, there machines were too great for our weapons we had. So they were looking at the children and choose a few of them, including you. They started to take you away. Warriors drew their bows, as your mother chased after you. She attacked sky people, she was shot, you were crying as your were being dragged away."

"Your father and a few warriors found your mother a few hours later and they went back to the clan. Turns out the village was burnt. Your mother was treated for the wounds and slowly healed. They started to rebuilt and started a plan to get the children back from the sky people. But. Thats a story for another day."

"Thank you."

She sighs. "I feel another war coming upon us, we can feel it. You must be strong, when you come to visit again I will tell you a new story. For now you must return."

I nodded. "Thank you again, Ill be back soon."

I closed my eyes as I could feel grass again and voices of Lo'ak and Kiri. I opened my eyes and looked around the see Kiri and Lo'ak sitting talking. I went to them and sat down.

"How long was I connect to the tree?" I asked.

Lo'ak shrugged. "Maybe an hour? Hour and half? We disconnected a wild ago."

I nodded. "Who did you visit?"

"I visited my mother and talked to her, got to know her more." Kiri says. "I miss her."

"I visited my grandfather, I swear I thought I saw you though but I do not know." Lo'ak says "You?"

"I was visited by the girl I saw in my vision, Koranu, She told me a piece of my name and a story of how I was taken." I replied.

"Well what did she tell you? What is your name?" Kiri asks

"She only gave me part of it, she told me the rest was for me to find out on my own." I said and paused. "My Middle name is Laylan."

Kiri smiled. "So Your full name would be Sey'ean te Laylan then your last name. It suits you."

I smiled back. "Thank you."

"I think its a beautiful family name." Lo'ak said and I smiled.

We sat and talked for a while about things, about who we saw, Kiri's mother and their grandfather. Which they told me stories that they heard about them. We were having a good time before Lo'ak answered Jake's call. I listened.

"You guys need to come home, we found a video from the sky people relating to Sey'ean." I locked eyes with Lo'ak as we got up and started to run back.

"Hello Jake Sully You have something that is ours." A guy on a computer said. "We would want our property, experiment 781 back she is important to us and we want her back safely. If not we were go through extreme measures to get her back. We will go to war with you if we have to."

"To 781 if your watching this a well. You thought you could escape us but we will find you and make sure you never escape again." The video ended.

Jake and Neytiri started to discuss before Neteyam spoke up. "What are we going to do about this. We arent going to give Sey'ean back to her right?"

"Of course not. We will not give her back. We will fight if we have to." Jake turns to me. "Do you have any thoughts?"

I looked at him dead in the eyes. "We give them hell."
