I took a deep breath before I exited my tent. The toothed necklaces hanged from my neck. As I passed people they bowed there head to me. I was still get used to that.
I felt someone touch my arm as I looked to my left. Lo'ak was walking next to me smiling. "I was wondering when you were going to come out of your tent."
I grinned. "So your stalking me?"
"I would say that I was stalking you.. Rather seeing what you were doing."
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, okay whatever you say Lo'ak. So when am I going to actually meet this human friend of yours?"
"Oh Spider?" Lo'ak asks. "In a few days or sooner, Dad wanted to make sure you were good with everything that has been happening with the sky people."
"I am good, Lo'ak. I am better then good, I'm free from them and I have my own life now." We turned a corner still walking.
"Whatever you say Sey'ean." Lo'ak says. "What are you doing after dinner?"
"I might go back to my tent and make some more paint. I'm running out." I replied.
We stopped in front of a tent as Lo'ak walked in I soon followed. There was a small gasp as a girl wrapped her arms around me. "Sey'ean!"
I looked down at Tuk who was smiling big at me. "Hello Tuk."
Tuk had let go of me and took my hand as she walked towards the sitting place for dinner. Neytiri looked up at me and smiled. "Oel Ngati Kameie Torukä Tirea." She said as she brought her hand down from her forhead.
"Oel Ngati Kameie Neytiri. You can just call me Sey'ean none of that formal crap." I said smiling. I sat down next to Tuk and Lo'ak as I felt something wrap around my hip. I looked at it and smiled. Lo'ak's tail.
Neytiri brought over the food and sat it down as Jake sat by Neteyam. Neytiri sat down after she finished laying out the food.
We grabbed our own portions and started eating. I was helping Tuk as she talked my ear off. We all exchanged words to each other and laughed at stories.
Jake was telling stories about when he was a child back on the sky people's planet.
Dinner soon got done as I said my goodbyes as Lo'ak walked me home. Home. That was right I had a home now, with the Omatikaya clan. Not with the sky people. I was so much happier now.
Lo'ak kept looking around and mumbling something to himself. Thinking. "What is wrong." I asked as I was looking at him.
Lo'ak stopped as he turned to me. I turned towards him my body turned to him. "I uh," Lo'ak began. "I found this new spot while I was flying, and I was wondering if you wanted to explore it?"
"Are you asking me out on a date Lo'ak?"
"What? Oh! No! Definitely not!" Lo'ak started rambling on trying to defend himself.
I put up my hand as I giggled. "It was a joke. I would love to go to this spot. Let me grab my riders mask real quick then we can go."
We started to continue to talk before we were at my tent, I grabbed my riders mask as we made our way to an Empty area as we called our Ikran's.
Relish landed as I put down my riders mask and climbed on. Lo'ak's Ikran got there as well, then Lo'ak got on.
He took off as I followed. We flew for a little. Lo'ak trying to make me fall and joking around. We were laughing, and it was nice.
We soon landed on a big branch as Lo'ak got off his Imran and I soon followed. We went inside of a huge tree that was hollow. It was filled with things from the Omatikaya clan. "Lo'ak how long did you know about this place?"
Lo'ak grinned. "A while now actually, I filled it with some of my stuff. A place where I can get away."
We talked as Lo'ak showed me things. He had human things. Lo'ak showed me something the sky people called as a computer. Lo'ak put in a chip as a man popped up on screen. It looked like Jake.
Sound soon played from it as Lo'ak sat down. "Name, Jake Sully Location, Hell's gate." The man soon started talking.
"This was my dad before he went fully into his avatar body." Lo'ak sighed as he leaned back. "I wish I could be like him."
"You will never be like Jake Lo'ak no one can be the same person." I looked at him and smiled. "Plus I like you this way."
Lo'ak looked at me and soon smiled. "Thank you Sey'ean."
We continued to watch some of Jake's old videos before we laid down. My head was on Lo'ak chest, I blinked a few times as a wave of exhaustion came over me from today's events. I could hear Lo'ak's breathing and his heart. Strong heart.
Everything was perfect.. Over the last few months everything was a whirlwind, but a know a few things now. I have the life I always wanted. I am Torukä Tirea, Spirit of Toruk. I have friends. And I am not with the sky people anymore.
I have made my stand. This is where I will stay. Being with my friends and protecting the Omatikaya clan. This is my life now, and I love it.
