I was painted with white paint. Lo'ak was painting my face as he finished my face, he painted two lines on my mouth. "You are ready."

Lo'ak led me out of a tent, I had ceremonial clothes on. Today I would be going through the last phase to becoming an adult. The dream hunt, Lo'ak said that I would go into a dream like state. I would find my spirit sister. Some have died doing this. Lets just hope I dont.

The Tsahik and Jake dressed in Olo'eyktan clothing was standing infront of the whole clan that was gathered as I went up in front of the tsahik, along with two other people. "Today these Warriors with go through their Uniltaron. (Dream hunt) They must find their spirit animal before they return back here." The clan erupted in cheers.

The tsahik stepped down holding a bowl, she went to the first warrior who opened his mouth and the tsahik placed a worm into his mouth. She went down the line doing it to the next warrior then to me. She placed the worm into my mouth before I could swallow it. The worm bit me. I winced as I swallowed it. Then started to become blurry as I fell to the ground I closed my eyes.

I was in the forest I walked around. I had to find my spirit animal, as I was walking, I saw a Pa'li I tried to go up to it but it ran away, I looked around more. I climbed up it trying to take a look at the area I was around.

When I got to the top I couldnt believe it, Lo'ak had showed me old pictures that the RDA had gotten during the first great war. It was hometree. I smiled at the beauty of it. A Prolemuris was by me I tried to go by it as it ran away.

I cilmbed down the tree and continued going. I heard a screech when I went down to the opening forest floor. I looked up and started to scramble away. It was Turok. The animal that Jake flew on during the first great war.

I stopped for a second as I moved forward. Is this my spirit sister? I moved forward a little. Turok nugged it head towards her back. I moved forward putting my hands out. "Maway Turok, Maway." (Calm, Turok Clam.)

I approached Turok as she nugged me with her head. I grabbed my braid and slowly made the bond with her. I could feel her breath her movements. "I see you my spirit sister. Are you only here in this Relam?"

Turok nodded its head. "May I fly with you?"

Turok nugged me with its head. I slowly got on and told her to fly. We started to fly. We flew around the hometree then Turok went through some on the branches. I felt free. I closed my eyes as I could feel myself coming out of the dream hunt. I opened my eyes. I was back in the mountains.

I slowly sat up to see the other warriors sitting up grinning at eachother before turning to me. I grinned at them. Some of the people helped us up. I stumbled a little. "Welcome back." Jake says

We walked up to Jake as he put his hands on each other our shoulders before resting his hands on my shoulders. "Ngenga 'itan 'ite Omatikaya luyu set. Na'viya luyu hapxa." (You are now a son and daughters on the Omatikaya. You are part of the people.)

Lo'ak and Kiri put their hands on my shoulder as other people started putting their hands on us before creating a big circle. I was now part of the people. The clan erupted in cheers. "Now let us feast in celebration!" Jake said.

We walked to the feast area as the fire was going. It was eclipse now. I sat down next to the two warriors as the sully children sat. The two warriors friends came as well, we started eating. "What are your guys spirit animals?" Neteyam asked.

The one warrior, Kaw'nu spoke up. "I bonded with a Thantor, He just came up to me so I slowly started to bond with him. It was awesome."

I smiled. "That is amazing, not many people bond with one of them during their dream hunt." Neteyam spoke up.

The other warrior, O'atsana spoke up next. "I bonded with a Hammerhead, It started to fight me as I was going to make the Bond but eventually I got it." She paused. "What about you Sey'ean?"

"Well I tried to bond with a few different animals, I had climbed up a tree to get a view of the place before jumping down, and well Turok came down to the forest floor. Well, lets just say I bonded with Turok."

There eyes went wide. "What?" I asked

"No one has ever bonded with Turok during their dream hunt, besides one I think. My dad knows the story, I think it was when the Omatikaya clan was new, like 20,000 years ago. The story was past on from generations to generations."

"That is awesome!" Kaw'nu spoke up.

"Indeed it is. Ive heard the story once I dont remember much of it. I was told the story as a child." O'atsana says

"What could this mean?" I ask

"It means Turok would help you, and only you during battles, you would control something, like a power." Neteyam said. I took a bite of my food. "I know there was a necklace that was in the middle of the old hometree that was past down from the first person who bonded with Turok."

"So how would I get it? Do we still have it?" I ask

"We do still have it. My father has it. To prove you really did bond with Turok you must find that power, you and only yourself must. No one can help you." Neteyam said.

We talked more about what this could mean. Soon the feast came to a end and we all stood up. O'atsana and Kaw'nu came up to me. "We would like to be friends with you. We completed our Rites of passage together. Plus your cool."

I smiled. "Sure." We fist bumped before going our separate ways. We headed back to the tent.

"Lets go speak with dad." Neteyam told Lo'ak. "About what happened, maybe he could tell us the story."

When we got to the tent we went up to Jake and told him what happened. We all sat down as well as Neytiri and Kiri. Tuk went to bed. Jake told us that Nyetiri would explain what the story was.

"When it was the time of our first songs, a man went through his very own dream hunt, as I remember the story correctly. It was very painful for him. When he went through his dream hunt, He flew with Toruk and then fought in a battle with him in his dream hunt before coming out of it. He was left with a mark on his forehead. He had these special powers that was connected with ewya. He later crafted a necklace that he wore until he died."

Neytiri paused. "Now of course this story was probably altered through out generations and generations. But they came up with a rule that you had to prove that you have these powers before you could claim the title. You would then wear this necklace until you pass to ewya."

"So how would I find out how to get these powers?" I asked

"The man trained, did different things before he found out he had them."

"How can I do that?" I asked

"That is for you to find out, no one can help you." Neytiri said.

"What was the man's name?" I asked.

"Syura'ewan Torukä Tirea."
