Matt's POV
When Gabby and I arrived at shift some of our families were already there. Christie and Violet were waiting for me in my room and Antonio was waiting by the ambo talking to Shay for Gabby to arrive. As soon as we got our first call of the day we put a pause to our conversations and headed off to the fire.
On the scene
Matt's POV
When we got to the scene this man ran out of his house with only a T-shirt on and his thing out saying he went to the toilet and forgot about his turkey. Gabby and Shay was laughing their butts off at the ambo. When Squad got there and saw the scene they laughed to. I told my men to go and handle the fire. When the fire was out the man still had no clothes on and he offered me a hug that is when everyone busted out in laughter.
Back at the firehouse
Shay's POV
I was the only one without any close family but Severide and Gabby set right beside me. When the turkey and Food was served we enjoyed ourselves but most of all enjoyed being able to spend this Thanksgiving with our friends and family that matter to us the most.
