Loki x yn What are you doing to me Loki ?

The first date!

The limo drives throughout the night, sailing through the city, all the lights are gleaming. You're sat opposite Loki in the back of the Limo, you were busy looking all throughout the city to notice he was not interested in looking out the window, just at you... only at you.

You look at him and met his eyes and smile

Ellie:'why do you keep looking at me?' you smile and ask boldly

Loki smiles:'i simply can't look away Ellie, you are so .... beautiful' he tilts his head

The Limo driver announces that you arrived at your destination. Loki opens his door and then holds his hand out to you and helps you out. To your surprise he keeps hold of your hand as you start walking.

You look at the big restaurant, it was definitely over 5 stars... if that was possible. It looked beyond fancy, something you'd see for royalty.

You walk in and are greeted by the waiters who were very kind. They escort you to a lovely reserved table that had the best view of Manhattan you'd ever seen. There were chandeliers with crystals hanging from them, red and gold accents on the cream walls. It was a spacious ballroom, with tables and chairs laid out to perfection.

Ellie:' Stark really does know the best places, this is all..... too much, this is the kind of place for... royalty' you say nervously

Loki:'this? oh,.. i suppose' he looks down at the drink menu., completely unphased.

Ellie:'you suppose? oh so you go to these kind of places often then?' you say sarcastically.

Loki looks up slowly.... you've forgotten.... he waits and just smiles at you until it dawns on you what Nat told you earlier that evening.... he is technically royalty.

You blush and hide your face behind a menu:' please don't have me beheaded' you giggle

Loki is amused and shakes his head with a grin.

After a while you both decide on what to drink and eat. Whilst waiting for the meal to arrive you get lost in the conversation.

Ellie" so whats your story" you ask as you put your arms in the table and rest your chin under your hands

Loki:'my story?" he asks as he looks at you "oh right, yes of course"

He gets into his life story, his childhood with Thor, his relationship with his Father, his abilities and everything that led up to today.

Y/n:'wow, that is.... incredible, so how comes Thor wanted to keep you here, what happened?'

Loki:"ah yes, i had a minor disagreement with Odin which made me lash out a little bit, and rather than send me to the cells in Asguard, Thor wanted me to come here, and be rehabilitated i suppose, he sees something in me, god knows what, but he wanted me to do better.... and i am happy he did'

Y/N:"and why's that?" you tilt your head.

Loki:'well because every decision has led to me meeting you, and being here with you tonight' he says not breaking eye contact.

you blush at his words, the way he makes you feel sends a warm sensation to your chest, its a feeling you have never had, but you never wanted it to go.

Y/n:' i just don't understand one thing, and excuse me for asking, but how could someone like you, who has shown nothing but kindness and patience to me since arriving here, have done those things in New York, it doesn't sound like you?'

Loki:"because to an extent, it wasn't actually.. me" He taps in forehead. indicating it was brainwashing 

Y/n:'oh, i see, that must have been horrible to be at the blame for all of that'

Loki:" it was, the avengers were very hesitant towards me, and for obvious reasons, but i think it has got better.... what do you think?"

YN:"well, i know that a little birdie may have spoken to Nat and Clint, which may have changed their views on you, and Bruce and Tony.... also Cap, Sam and Bucky probably saw how you helped me after that nightmare, so we don't have many left to change their minds "

Loki:"we ?"

YN:'Well of course, i see how nice you are and it wouldn't be fair if i didn't help the others see it too, you're a good person Loki, the others just need to realise it for themselves. They listen to me so, its not been a difficult task"

Loki looked away for a minute and looked at the drink in front of him

YN:' Did i do something wrong?" you ask concerned.

Loki:"no y/n, quiet the opposite."- he reaches forward and gently takes your hand in his and faces you again "in all the years i have been breathing, no one has ever done such an act, something so small but can make all the difference on how one is perceived. All my life i have been painted as a threat, a monster that is fuelled by evil..... but then there is you, sweet and kind y/n. you did not have to speak to the others to see a part of me they did not believe existed, but you did it anyway, and for that i cannot thank you enough, for doing something so selfless, you wanted them to see me how you see me out of the goodness of your own heart, and that is something i have never had before."

y/n:" you have never had someone care about you?"

Loki:'you care about me?" he asks, unable to process your words

You.... care.... for him?

you're shocked at his words, how could no one have ever cared for such a person, Thor must care about him, but in his own brotherly way i suppose.

y/n:"well of course, how could i not?' you looked at him genuinely surprised and hold his hand a little bit tighter.

Loki has never heard such words before..... he has never felt the feelings he is currently experiencing. You are a breath of air to him when he has been drowning for so long.

Loki:"with all the planets in the galaxy, and across all the 9 realms, i have had the privilege to meet you. Words cannot express how exceptional you are. I am grateful to have been graced by your presence y/n., your beauty.... your soul"

You smile at him, he smiles back. You wish this night could last forever.

You both chat away into the night until it is time to leave. You both stand up and begin walking to the car to take you back to the tower. He takes your hand it felt so natural. Your hand melted into his, it felt like a puzzle piece that finally got placed where it belongs.

Before you both get into the car he turns to you and takes both of your hands

Loki:" i have had an amazing time with you tonight y/n, thank you for giving me the opportunity to know you better, i cannot wait to see more" he gently places a kiss on one of your hands.

You feel flustered and radiate a heat from your face from the gesture.

Y/n:'when we get back to the tower, we could..... watch a movie together? if you'd like?" you smile, all you wanted was to be in his company.

Loki:'there's nothing else i'd rather do" he smiles back as he opens the car door for you.

You travel back to the tower, you most likely will have the whole team asking you how it went, but for now, you're just enjoying the present.
