Daisy

Today was Sunday, the day of the date.

And well, I guess it's safe to say I'm having a nervous breakdown.

I mean what am I supposed to wear? What should I do with my hair? What shoes are going to be the most comfortable?

I decide on the dress that Paige had bought for me in a shop a few weeks ago. Happiness fills my heart as I remember that day.

The dress still looks as beautiful as it did the day I got it. And I feel beautiful in it.

I put on some light makeup and curl my hair. Not wanting to go full out since I didn't know what we were going to be up to.

As I'm about to put some shoes on there's a knock at the door. Nerves fill my body as I open the door.

Standing there in all her glory is Paige holding a large bouquet of yellow tulips.

"Hi" I say

She leans in and places a kiss to my cheek, holding out her hand with the flowers.

"These are for you pretty girl, I like the dress" she winks.

I blush, turning back around and walking into the kitchen to find a vase.

Her arms wrap around my waist as I'm filling up the glass jar with water, her head resting in the crook of my neck.

"You like em?" She mumbles.

"I do, thank you" I smile.

Her lips place a light kiss to my shoulder before she backs up and I turn around to place the flowers on the counter.

"You ready to go?" She asks.

I nod, she grabs my hand as she pulls me towards the door.

"So where are you taking me?"

"It's a surprise baby" she says as we get in the car.

"I don't like waiting" I drag on.

"Well you're gonna have to" she says, moving her hand off the wheel and placing it on my upper thigh.

Her thumb traces small, comforting circles and I place my hand on top of hers, fiddling with her fingers.

The drive there was quiet, but comfortable. I grew more excited as we drove into town.

After an amount of time that actually killed me, Paige pulled into an open area with what looks to be an outside movie theatre. People are spread out on the grass with lawn chairs and blankets.

"Is this okay?" She asks turning to me.

"Yes! I've always wanted to go to one of these!"

Her body relaxes and a wide smile forms on her face. She quickly gets out and opens my door.

"Hold on a sec I gotta get all the other stuff okay?"
