Paige
A groan from beside me wakes me up as I roll over. I rest my arm over Daisy's warm body that's next to mine.
"Oh god.."
Suddenly my arms thrown off as she darts out of bed running out to the hallway.
My eyes shoot open as I hear her in the bathroom. I quickly throw the blanket off me and rush to the bathroom to find her hunched over the toilet throwing up the contents of her stomach.
"Oh baby" I whisper. I kneel beside her, one hand collecting her hair holding it up as I rub her back with the other.
We sit there for a moment, she whimpers as she sits back resting against the shower wall. "I shouldn't have had anything to drink" she breaths.
"Well now we know for next time don't we?"
She nods as she moves to get to her feet. I quickly stand holding her hand as she stands up, gripping the sink.
"Oh my god.. how do people do this"
I smile shaking my head. "Let's get you something to settle your stomach"
She sits herself down on the couch letting out a deep breath. I grab her a glass of water and some pain meds before joining her. I stretch out my legs and relax into the couch.
I pat my lap, "Rest your head baby". She doesn't say anything as she lays back. I grab the blanket that's handing off the back of the couch draping it over her.
Gently I rake my fingers through her hair, she hums relaxing into my hand.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have let you drink so much baby. I didn't realize how little it took for you do be drunk" I say.
She whines lightly tapping my leg, "shush, and it's not your fault, don't worry Paige" her small finger traces circles lightly in my skin.
"So um, you know how it's my birthday soon right?" I question, my heart racing.
"Mhm.. you still haven't told me what you want, meanie"
I smile, "I told you I don't need anything. All I need is you. But um I have a question"
"Don't tell me you want a car cause I really don't have the money for that" she laughs.
"No no, nothing like that baby. Well normally I go back home for my birthday, take the week to go back home, and well, I was hoping you'd come with me" I trail.
Her hand stills, "Are you sure? I mean would your family be ever okay with that?" I-I don't want to intrude or anything.."
"Baby, I already asked them and they're more than happy to have you. They've wanted to meet you for a while"
She slowly sits up, groaning at the movement. She turns her body to be pressed to mine, her head resting on my chest.
"W-Well I'd love to meet them too, I really want to meet Drew in person"
Drew and Daisy have talked over the phone a few times, Drew loves her. Sometimes I think he loves her more than me.
"When my parents mentioned me bringing you he lost his shit, so don't be surprised if he won't leave your side" I laugh.
