Daisy

I stand in front of the closed door holding a suitcase in one hand and Paige's hand in the other. Anyone standing in a five foot radius of me could probably hear my heart beating.

"Daisy it's going to fine. They're all going to love you" she says squeezing my hand in reassurance.

Her hand leaves mine as she takes a key from her pocket and unlocks the door. I follow her in through the door closing it behind me.

The house is quiet before somewhere down a hall there's a gasp. "Daisy!"

Loud footsteps echo through the house before a little Drew is flying towards me. I stumble back as I wrap my arms around him.

"Hey buddy, I missed you" I laugh.

"It took you long enough to come down here" his voice muffled from being shoved in my sweater.

"Did we all just forget that I'm here?" Paige laughs.

"Paige!" Drew detaches himself from me and runs to his sister, my face softens watching the two.

"Daisy I want to show you my room" his hand takes mine before he starts pulling me down the hall.

"Drew you gotta give her a minute!" Paige's voice echos but I just chuckle as Drew doesn't seem to pay attention.

Paige walks next to me with shopping bags in each hand. Drew walks ahead of both of us eating the ice cream Paige had just gotten him.

"There isn't anything you want for your birthday? There has to be something" I whine.

"Don't spend any money on me, don't worry. I don't need anything" she smiles.

"Paige, three quarters of the bags you're holding are things you bought me. That's not fair"

"But I like buying you things, I promise I don't need anything" she leans down pressing a kiss to my cheek.

"Please- I can take Drew with me and we will both pick out something for you"

She smiles fondly, "fine, but at least take this" she takes out her small wallet pulling out a card.

"What no, Paige it's your birthday I can't use your own money to buy it" I say.

"Drew come here for a minute" she says and he turns around standing in front of us. "Take this okay, don't let Daisy use her own. I'll meet you guys in the food court okay?"

He takes the card from her hand confused before he shrugs his shoulders and continues eating his ice cream.

"Paige seriously-"

"Baby, just take it okay? Get whatever you want" she bends down quickly kissing me before she walks in the other direction.

I look to Drew who seems unbothered, "so what are we gonna do?"

"Well I need to get a present for your sister, but I'm not sure what to get her" I sigh.

"I have an idea" he smiles before taking my hand in his own as we walk down the hallway.

"So you know how Paige likes shoes right? Well you could get a pair and decorate them. Omg you guys should also get matching crocs. Or we could get her some hats she's always wearing them. Oh wait what about-"

"Drew, let's take a breather, I don't want to make her go broke okay?" I laugh.

Well, Drew definitely took advantage of Paige's card.

I walk out of the final store with plenty of bags in hand and we walk to the food court.

"And you're sure she's not going to be mad? I mean I get they're all for her but like, this is a lot of money" I question.

"Since you're here she won't be mad, don't worry" he smiles innocently, but his words do little to reassure me.

We walk into the large sitting area with different restaurants and shops and try to find a certain blonde. We walk through the busy crowd and I make sure to take Drew's hand in mine as we bump into shoulders and body's.

"Oh I see her" I smile.

She sits at a small table sipping on a smoothie while on her phone. Drew's hand leaves mine as he runs up to her in an attempt of scaring her.

She rubs his head before he takes a seat in front of her. Her attention moves to me and then to the bags in my hands, her eyes widen, "Baby- what's all this?"

"I- I know it's a lot I'm really sorry-"

"I used the card for everything, she didn't touch it once, promise" Drew says.

"Oh baby I'm not mad, I'm just surprised is all" she assures.

"Are you sure? I mean I can totally go return some of this but I also think you will really like some of the stuff" I ramble.

She gently takes my hand bringing me closer to her, "It's okay, I said you could get anything you wanted didn't I?"

I nod and some smiles leaning in the kiss me, "Ew I don't need to see this" Drew says. I blush backing away from Paige and she chuckles.

Um so hey..

A little sudden but I think the next chapter might be the last one..

DONT HATE ME

but I just really don't have any ideas for this book anymore and want to focus on other things or start some new projects.

I'm sorry I hope y'all aren't mad😭
