Daisy
The bakery is busy as I push open the door. Customers chattering and laughing. The air smells as sweet as it always does.
Paige walks in behind me placing a hand to my waist. I walk us over gone back through a door that reads employees only. Shutting the door behind us I place my bag on the floor grabbing an apron from the clean laundry basket placed on the floor. Pulling the strings behind me I tie a tight not before turning to Paige.
She's leaned against a table with her arms behind her to hold her up. Her tongue sails across her lips before she reaches out to pull me closer. A smile forms on my face as I look up to her.
Her head dips down as her lips meet my own. She's soft and gentle as she pulls my waist in closer, a content hum leaving me.
Unfortunately aid is something the body needs. I slowly lean back as she leans forward chasing me.
"Paige I gotta work, this will have to wait till later" I giggle.
"I don't want to wait baby, later is so long from now" she grumbles dipping her head to my neck. She softly bites the skin.
My head rate quickens, but not for the reason it used to. "N-no. Don't do that, p-please" I whisper pushing against her chest and taking a step back.
"Oh- I- sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, I just thought you were okay with that..?" She questions.
God what am I doing. He can't even see them anymore.
"No I- sorry no I am I just.. sorry I um- I gotta go see my aunt and start working. Um please stay to do your homework.. o-or don't I-I mean you of course don't have to-"
"I will, sorry baby. Come on let's go" placing a soft kiss to my cheek she turns to the door opening it for me.
Looking at her one last time I walk out the door to behind the counter into the kitchen. When suddenly I'm met with heavy force.
"Oh Daisy! You had me worried sick about you! I swear I will kill that man. Are you okay? Have you been eating? You look rather thin" Aunt Megs voice is rushed as she searches over my body.
"I-I'm okay, don't worry. Paige has been helping me and taking care of me.." I say glancing back to Paige who took a seat at an empty table.
"Alright.. as long as you trust her and like her, then I'm okay" she smiles.
She wraps her arms around me giving me a tight hug. "You ever need anything, and I mean everything, you come to me okay? You need money or food or clothes, I will help you, always"
"I know"
She pulls away wiping a tear from her eye, "okay, I need you upfront for a bit but we're closing early today cause I have an appointment"
Nodding I do as she says taking over the front. Glancing to Paige she's neck deep in books and quickly writing.
I decide to make her a drink and bring her over some food. When I finish making her a lemonade and getting her a cinnamon roll I go to head over to her table but am stopped by aunt Meg.
"Here, this is for Paige isn't it? Let me go give it to her" she smiles as she takes the plate and cup from my hand.
Confused, I turn back around to continue helping customers.

Paige
Sitting infront of me is who I assume is her Aunt Meg.
"Hi Paige, it's great to see you again! If you don't remember I'm Daisy's Aunt Meg. She wanted me to bring these over for you" she smiles.
"Oh thanks, it's nice to see you again too" I say.
"Now, am I right to say that you and Daisy are together?" She asks, very straight to the point.
"Uh- yeah- yes I mean. Um I asked her to be my girlfriend a little while ago, I hope that's alright..?"
"Oh course dear! You have no idea how long she's had a crush on you. She was so happy when you asked her to the game, she couldn't wait!"
I smile, glancing over to Daisy to see her handing a cupcake to a little girl who shyly smiles as she takes the treat.
"I see the way you look at her Paige, you look at her as if shes the only thing you'll ever know. You better treat her right. She deserves it after what she's been through."
"Don't worry, I will. I love her. She makes me a better person, it's like she just lights up my life you know? I'll never hurt her. Ever. I'd hate myself for life if I did"
Daisy deserves nothing bad. She deserves everything good in life and I will make sure I can give it to her.
If she asked for a house, I'd happily go broke buying her whatever one she wanted.
If she wants a new dress, I'd get her ten.
