### Chapter 15: Truths Unveiled

Yn sat in the palace library, deep in thought, when a memory struck her. Hobi had mentioned something about Suga that seemed significant. Without wasting time, she decided to meet Hobi and get to the bottom of it.

Yn found Hobi in the royal gardens, enjoying the morning sun. "Hobi, can I talk to you for a moment?"

Hobi looked up, smiling. "Of course, Yn. What's on your mind?"

Yn took a deep breath. "It's about Suga. I need to know more about him. I have a feeling he might be involved in the article scandal."

Hobi's smile faded, replaced by a serious expression. "What do you want to know?"

"You mentioned something about him almost getting knighthood but losing it. Can you tell me more about that?"

Hobi sighed, leaning back against the bench. "Suga was on the verge of being knighted. He was brilliant, disciplined, and everyone believed he would make a great knight. But then his father got involved in gambling. He risked all their money and lost everything. Jin's dad helped them out financially, but the damage was done."

"How did that affect Suga's knighthood?" Yn asked, her curiosity piqued.

"As the chief of the royal knights, Jin's grandfather pointed out Suga's father's gambling habit. He said it was unacceptable for a noble's family. So, Suga lost his chance at knighthood. He was devastated."

"Why didn't Jin ever tell me any of this?" Yn's voice was filled with frustration and confusion.

Hobi shook his head. "Jin doesn't know. Suga never told him. He didn't want Jin to pity him."

Yn nodded, piecing the puzzle together. "That explains a lot. Thank you, Hobi."

With newfound determination, Yn contacted Jimin and Jungkook. They agreed to help her and decided to confront Suga at his apartment. As they made their way there, Yn called Jin, updating him on their plan.

Jungkook managed to hack the lock, and they entered Suga's apartment. The room was neat, with personal items scattered around, making it feel lived-in. Yn and Jungkook quickly went through Suga's laptop. There, they found a copy of the article's email. Suga had sent it to several publishers.

Jin, who had joined them, was shocked. "I can't believe it. Suga never told me he moved here. Why would he do this?"

They collected the evidence and left the apartment quietly, but Jin was resolute. "I need to hear it from Suga himself."

They returned to Suga's apartment and rang the bell. Suga answered, surprise evident on his face. "Jin, Yn, what are you doing here?"

Jin's expression was stern. "We need to talk, Suga. Can we come in?"

Suga stepped aside, letting them in. He looked nervous. "What's this about?"

Jin wasted no time. "We found the article you sent. Why did you do it, Suga?"

Suga's face paled. "I... I didn't mean for it to go this far when Namjoon came to me."

Yn stepped forward. "You wanted revenge, didn't you? Because of what happened to your knighthood."

Suga looked down, his shoulders sagging. "I've always been a commoner. I worked so hard to rise above my station, but in the end, it didn't matter. The social hierarchy kept me down."

Jin's voice was filled with sadness. "Why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you let me help you?"

Suga's eyes were filled with anger and regret. "I didn't want your pity, Jin. I wanted to make a name for myself. But when I saw you with Yn, I felt that same bitterness. She had everything handed to her because of you."

Yn shook her head. "I didn't have anything handed to me. I worked hard for my career. I understand your pain, but this... this wasn't the way."

Jin placed a hand on Suga's shoulder. "We could have figured something out together, Suga. You didn't have to do this."

Suga's anger melted into tears. "I'm sorry, Jin. I let my resentment take over. I didn't think about the consequences."

Jin sighed, taking a step back. "I understand why you did it, Suga, but I can't forgive you. You broke my trust, years of friendship shattered. Trust isn't something you can easily mend."

Suga's face crumpled, and he looked down. "I understand. I'm truly sorry, Jin. I never wanted it to come to this."

Yn watched, feeling a mixture of relief and sadness. The truth was out, and while it didn't erase the pain, it was a step toward healing. They had a long way to go, but with honesty and unity, they could overcome anything.

Jin turned to Yn. "Let's go. We have a lot to figure out."

Yn nodded, and they left Suga's apartment together, the weight of the revelation hanging heavy in the air..
