### Chapter 5: The Ultimatum
Yn arrived at the coffee shop and spotted Jin already seated, his usual serious expression in place, with a hint of his familiar mocking tone. He looked up as she approached.
"Stuck at a dead end, aren’t you?" Jin's words cut through the air.
Yn's temper flared, even though it was true. "Did you call me here just to make fun of me?"
Jin shook his head. "No. You wanted to know the truth."
"Yes, so tell me already. Don't drag it out," Yn demanded, sitting across from him.
Jin motioned to the waiter and ordered two coffees. They sat in silence until the drinks arrived. Taking a sip, Jin finally spoke.
"I'm turning 30 next month."
Yn frowned, confused. "Advanced happy birthday, but is that why you want to get married so quickly?"
"No," Jin replied, his tone serious. "If I don’t get settled, I won’t inherit any of this."
Yn’s eyebrows raised in surprise. "Your grandparents think marriage equals being settled?"
"Exactly," Jin said, taking another sip. "If I’m not married by the time I turn 30, my cousin Kim Namjoon stands to inherit everything."
"Is he your only other heir?" Yn asked.
"Yes," Jin said, his tone darkening. "But Namjoon is selfish. He’ll sell everything to industrialists if he gets his hands on it. He’s already married with a kid, so my grandparents might see him as the safer choice."
Yn studied Jin carefully. "Are you so desperate for the inheritance? Are you that selfish and ambitious?"
Jin’s expression hardened. "No. This dynasty is my blood. I want to safeguard it, not sell it off like Namjoon would. I want to preserve its significance."
Yn considered his words. His answer resonated with a genuine sense of duty. "Why did you choose me, though? You could get anyone to play this role."
"You were the safest choice," Jin explained. "You're Indian and have no intentions of settling here. Plus, you don’t care about my status like others do. You didn’t try to impress me."
Yn took a moment to process everything. "I’ll think about it," she finally said, standing up to leave.
Jin looked shocked. "You’re not giving me an answer now?"
"No," Yn replied firmly. "I need to make sure this is the right decision for me."
As she walked away, Jin sat there, stunned. Yn had managed to surprise him yet again.
