### Chapter 11: The Countdown Begins
The next morning, Jin's grandparents gathered him and Yn in the drawing room.
"We have decided," Hae Won began, her tone final, "that the wedding will take place one week from now, on Jin's 30th birthday."
Jin and Yn exchanged surprised looks. "That's... very soon," Yn said cautiously.
"It's time," Chairman Kim said firmly. "Invite your family as well, Yn. This is a union of families, after all."
Jin and Yn nodded in agreement, realizing that the pace was now beyond their control.
Later that day, they were on their way to Jin's apartment in Seoul. Jin's friends had planned a bachelorette party for him, and despite the whirlwind of events, he was looking forward to it.
As they arrived at the restobar, Jin's friends greeted them warmly. Rose and Lisa, who were twins and also distant relatives of Jin, were the first to approach.
"Yn, it's so nice to finally talk properly," Rose said with a bright smile. "We've heard so much about you."
Lisa nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, welcome to the family!"
Hobi, the Royal Treasurer's son, gave her a friendly nod. "We've been wanting to get to know you better. Sorry the engagement party was so hectic."
Suga, who was introduced as their commoner friend, grinned. "I'm Suga. Welcome to the madness."
"It's great to meet you all," Yn said, feeling more at ease with their warm reception.
They settled into a comfortable camaraderie, and soon the group was deep into a game of dumb charades. Laughter filled the air as they tried to guess each other's ridiculous acting.
After a few rounds, they decided to visit the Seoul Tower. The view was breathtaking, and the group shared a quiet moment of awe.
As they strolled through the empty streets afterward, Yn spotted a familiar figure slipping into an alley. "Jin, excuse me for a second," she said, quickly following the figure.
Jin watched her go, a puzzled look on his face, but nodded. "Be careful."
Yn followed the figure to a building with a sign that read "Night Study Club." She hesitated for a moment before stepping inside. To her surprise, she saw Ryujin sitting at a table, deeply engrossed in a book.
"Ryujin?" Yn called softly, walking closer.
Ryujin looked up, startled. "Yn? What are you doing here?"
"I could ask you the same thing," Yn replied, sitting across from her. "This isn't exactly where I'd expect to find you."
Ryujin sighed, closing her book. "I come here to study and escape... everything at home. Namjoon doesn't know about this place."
Yn could see the exhaustion and sadness in Ryujin's eyes. "I'm sorry for following you, but I was worried. Is everything okay?"
Ryujin shook her head. "No, everything is not okay. Namjoon is furious about your engagement to Jin. He sees it as a threat to his plans."
"I overheard him at the engagement party," Yn admitted. "He was pretty clear about his feelings."
Ryujin looked away, her eyes filling with tears. "He's not the man I thought I married. He's obsessed with power and control. I don't know what to do."
Yn reached out, placing a comforting hand on Ryujin's. "You don't have to go through this alone. We can figure something out together."
Ryujin gave her a small, grateful smile. "Thank you, Yn. That means a lot."
