A/N- Soo I decided to start writing as much as I can before I cant. There aren't any controls on this device yet, but unless Wattpad allows me to write through mobile web there will be extremely sloow  or no updates. I wasn't able to reread this to check for errors so if there are just comment on that para.

"Ugh," you groan, curling into your bed, wrapping your blanket tighter around you. Mostly, on the occasion when the weather was pleasant, you wanted to go outside in the sun, just enjoy. Today, not so much. Today was the first day of a monthly agony week. Your abdomen hurt. Your head hurt. All you wanted was to stay in bed, curled up with a good book and the chocolate you were craving.

You didn't know why, but you just felt like rolling into a ball and crying. A bleeding uterus did that to you.

You were just about to do so when you hear a knock on your bedroom door. You sighed uncomfortably as you got up to open it. It was probably Steve or Nat, wondering if you were going to come down and train. They weren't bothered by 'girl' problems. But it wasn't. Instead, it was a certain God of Mischief, Loki.

"What do you want?" you snap. You didn't mean to. A bleeding uterus also did that to you.

"Natasha told me you weren't feeling well. I decided to check on you, see if you're okay." Loki said.

"Oh," you replied, not sure what to think of this. It was slightly embarrassing, and you didn't really want to talk to anyone, but weren't sure how to refuse. Also, you had a feeling that the god wouldn't take no for an answer. "Okay, come in." You slowly walked back into your room and wrapped your cozy blanket around you. He followed you, taking a seat into the armchair next to your bed.

Both of you just sat there, unsure of what to say, neither of you wanting to break the silence. Finally, he spoke, "Is there anything you would like?"

Turns out, a bleeding uterus did many things to you. It also gave you a  light- and- noise- sensitive headache, which would make you flinch at even the softest of sounds. For some reason, however, Loki's voice was soothing. Once again, you had no idea why. Gods were weird.

"I need chocolate. Or cake."

"How about some tea, too?"

"Okay." You watched as Loki conjured a tray with warm herbal tea and a good-smelling chocolate cake. He came over to your bed and sat right next you, holding the tray, letting you take the cup.

"Here. Take it." He paused. "It's my mother's recipe," He said softly. You remembered that his mother had passed away nearly a year back. You weren't sure what to say.

"It's really good. Your mother was an excellent cook."

He smiled softly. "Yes, she was." He turned to look at you. "Do you feel any better?"

"A bit, yeah. Could you, uh, pass me that book there?" you pointed towards the table on the other side of your bed, where there lay a book with a red and white cover.

"A Good Girl's Guide to Murder," Loki read the title aloud and gave you a look. "Who are you planning to kill?"

You laughed. "Don't worry, I won't kill you." He laughed too. You realized that this was probably the first time you had seen him laugh; he was usually so quiet and withdrawn. You opened the book to the first page and began reading it.

'Pip knew where they lived. Everyone in Little Kilton knew where they lived.'

"Let me read too," Loki said, slightly tilting his head.

"Yes, sir." you smirked.

You leaned your head on his shoulder as you both read. You didn't realize when your eyelids began to droop. You slowly close your eyes, sleeping.

Loki stared at you. You looked so peaceful in your sleep, your chest heaving up and down with each breath, a few strands of hair in front of your face. He tucked them behind your ear and gave you a soft kiss on your forehead.
