The dawn of a new day bathed Ilocos Norte in a soft, golden light. For the first time in centuries, Count Ferdinand stood at the grand entrance of his mansion, basking in the sunlight that streamed through the open doors. His eyes, once accustomed only to the shadows of night, now took in the brilliance of the day with a sense of awe and newfound freedom.

"It's been a long time since I've seen the sun again," Ferdinand murmured, his voice tinged with reverence. He extended his hand, allowing the warm rays to caress his pale skin. "How beautiful it is... a sight I thought I would never behold again."

His butlers, Creon, Azreal, and Ezy, stood nearby, watching their master with a mixture of astonishment and admiration. They had served him loyally through the darkest nights, and now, they witnessed his transformation—a Count who could walk in the daylight.

"Master," Creon said, stepping forward, "it's remarkable to see you like this. The sun... it suits you."

Ferdinand turned to his head butler with a rare, genuine smile. "Thank you, Creon. This is indeed a new chapter for us all."

With his newfound ability, Ferdinand was eager to resume his duties as the Count of his domain, unburdened by the limitations that had once confined him to the night. He decided to visit the local officials, a gesture that would reaffirm his commitment to the people of Ilocos Norte.

The journey to the town hall was one filled with a sense of purpose and anticipation. As Ferdinand and his butlers arrived, the townspeople stared in shock and awe. The Count, known for his nocturnal habits, was walking among them in broad daylight. The whispers spread quickly, and soon a crowd gathered, eager to catch a glimpse of this extraordinary sight.

At the town hall, the local officials were in the midst of their daily routines when Ferdinand and his entourage entered. The room fell silent as the officials turned to see their Count, standing tall and regal in the sunlight that poured through the windows.

"Count Ferdinand," one of the officials stammered, "this is... unexpected. To see you here, during the day..."

Ferdinand nodded, his expression composed and authoritative. "I understand your surprise. It has been many years since I could walk in the daylight. But I assure you, my commitment to this domain has never waned. Today marks a new era for Ilocos Norte."

He stepped forward, extending his hand to the mayor. "I am here to discuss the matters of our town, to ensure that we continue to prosper and thrive."

The mayor, still slightly bewildered, took Ferdinand's hand and shook it firmly. "Of course, Count Ferdinand. We are honored by your presence. Please, let's sit and discuss."

As they moved to the conference table, Ferdinand couldn't help but gaze out the window, mesmerized by the vivid colors of the day. The blue sky, the green of the trees, and the vibrant life of the town filled him with a sense of wonder.

"It's been a long time since I've seen the sun again... how beautiful it is," he repeated softly to himself, marveling at the simple yet profound beauty of the world bathed in daylight.

The meeting proceeded smoothly, with Ferdinand taking an active role in discussing various issues facing the town. His insights were sharp, his decisions decisive. The officials, initially skeptical, were soon reassured by his wisdom and leadership.

As the meeting concluded, the mayor spoke again. "Count Ferdinand, your presence here today has been a blessing. Your ability to now move freely in the daylight will undoubtedly bring great benefits to our community."
