" 'WHAT'S THE KEY TO BEING A GREAT DAD?' " Jay repeated the question thinking about it. Gloria looked at him waiting for his answer. "Well that's a tough one." he concluded after some time, Gloria nodding along.

「 ✦ Mitchell Pritchett & Cameron Tucker ✦ 」

"Giving them the freedom to be whatever they want to be" Cameron answered quickly.

"Right exactly and- " Mitchell began but was interrupted

"Whether that's a painter, a- a poet, a pilot, a president..." Cameron continued without caring about Mitchell.

"And for us what we're gonna do- " Mitchell tried again but once again was interrupted.

"...of a company or of a country" Cameron finally came to a stop.

Mitchell checked if the rant was really over and gave his answer. "Patience."

" Well, be their buddy" answered Phil, simply.

"That's your answer?" Critiqued Claire from behind the wall. Phil turned to his wife.

"And stay in school." he tried, facing the camera again.

"No," replied Claire.

"And don't do drugs" he tried again.

"Nooo" shook her head Claire.

"Just give me the answer!" Phil exclaimed exasperated, turning back to face his wife.

"Oh God." Claire left sounding done with him.

Jay was still thinking about his answer. He opened his mouth to reply but nothing came out. "Still thinking," he spoke after shaking his head.

「 ✦ Michele Bonetti ✦ 」

"I-I think it's listening to your children, calmly, helping them out with their problems, without criticizing them for their weaknesses, y'know." Replied Michele after thinking about it. "An- and supporting them, soprattutto- esp- especially when they're going through a hard time."

"Also trust. Like you have to trust your children's ability to make decisions. And you have to trust them overall, even in the small things. Then they will trust you too, and go to you with their problems." he continued after some time.

"¡Mamà!" Daria yelled from her temporary bedroom. (Mom!)

"¿Que?" Her mother yelled back. (What?)

"No encuentro mi collar, ¿sabes dónde está?" Spoke up Daria getting down the stairs "I looked all over the room, but I can't find it? Can you help me?" (I can't find my necklace, do you know where it is?)

"Sure," Gloria replied, getting up from her seat on the kitchen table. The woman then proceeded to go upstairs following her daughter.

"My dad's still searching for a job," The girl put up one finger. "My mom is going to Napa with her husband," she put up two more fingers. " and Nuel is going with his dad to Disneyland." she put up a last finger and continued "So, to not stay in that big ass house all alone, I contacted an old friend from when I still lived with my mom. Her name is Lisa and I asked her to meet in the mall, so we could have an Ice cream and shop a little." she concluded "I'm so excited!! I missed her, she has been my friend since middle school, and she was one of the sweetest people I have encountered."
