DARIA WAS DECORATING HER ROOM FOR CHRISTMAS. Changing her bed sheets to match the holiday's colors, putting up Christmas garlands over her door and window, putting on her cd player a christmas mix she put together herself, waiting for the shrilling scream her father would let out.

"AAAAAAH!!!" was heard through the house making Daria burst out laughing. The teenager quickly ran down the stairs to see her father's face. Her creation standing right there in the darkened room.

"Inocente!!" Daria pointed at her father's heaving form. "Hahah! I got you! Again!"

"Christmas is my favorite holiday, along with Halloween, because I can scare people without repercussions," Daria declared.

"You always take it too far." Michele reprimanded his daughter.

"You know it!" Daria winked at her father before turning back to the camera. "I always scare him before he gets the chance to scare me. I'm a professional at this. I used to scare Nuel so much he would sleep in the same bed as mom for a whole week. I also would scare mom so much she would sleep with the lights on for a whole month." Daria shook her head with a far away look. "Ah good times."

"Their bills would always be so high around that time of the year." Michele looked and sounded so done with his daughter.

"Daria, we talked about this, you can't keep scaring me like this." Michele reprimanded his daughter.

"Um...yes I can and I will, you can't tell me anything because that would be racist." Daria said with a tone that implied there was no room to talk. "Now I'm going to wear something christmassy for our call with grandma. I'm thinking of leaving Johnathan here, he makes a good addition to the room."

"You named this beast Johnathan?" Michele looked appalled.

"Yeah he needs a name" The girl exclaimed, before scurrying up the stairs.

Later that day Daria was sitting in her mother's kitchen, with her dad and her mom, while Manny and Jay were watching some old movie.

"Ciao Nonna!" Smiled Daria "Mi sei mancata tantissimo" (Hey Grandma. I missed you so much)

"Ciao tesoro, mi sei mancata anche tu, tanto tanto, come stai tesoro di nonna, come va?" Asked Miranda, her face way too close to the camera. (Hello darling, i missed you too, so so much, how are you grandma's darling, how's it going?)

"Sto bene, grazie e tu? tutto bene? Il nonno sta bene?" Daria asked, not seeing her grandfather. (I'm good, thank you and you? How are you? How's grandpa?)

"Oh quel vecchiaccio sta più che bene!" Miranda waved the question off. "Io sto una meraviglia, siamo su una spiaggia delle Hawaii, e we're living the dream!" (Oh that old geezer is more than well! I am wonderful, we're on a beach in Hawaii, and...)

"Sono felice che stiate bene, vabbè, ti passo papà e mamma" Daria said getting up from her seat. "Ci sentiamo!" (I'm happy you're well, oh well, I'll leave you to dad and mom, see ya)

Daria walked out of the room to go check on the movie Jay and Manny were watching. "No, no, it isn't that kind of a trail. It's just because he says he's Santa Claus." said the actress on the TV, to the little girl on her lap.

"But I've got a feeling he is Santa Claus, mother!" The little girl exclaimed.

"Some people don't believe that. That's why..." Daria paid no attention as she looked at Manny, who was looking at Jay. The older girl followed his line of sight to see Jay shedding a tear.
