It was raining cats and dogs when Shehnaaz was brought back to her home in Bhagalpur late night by 10 PM amidst the heavy rain by car arranged by her college accompanied by Shraddha and a female staff of her college after she has called at home and told about her health condition.Ashok ji has arranged the same that very moment...Vikramshila was a very small place and there were no trustworthy appropriate medical facility where she could go there for an urgent checkup,also it can even worse the situation she was in....so she did not trusted on the small nursing homes there where things can go even more wrong...and hence she has to let her be calm and patient enough to handle the not so good condition of her instead of freaking out.She just kept breathing praying with a trembling heart and shaking body in sickness.

The  2 and half hour journey from Vikramshila to Bhagalpur felt like a ticking bomb while she travelled in bad weather,heavyrain and heavy crowded traffic jam at the end on bad bumpy roads trying to safeguard her baby to the best she can...Her hands never left her lower abdomen as if protecting her baby,her heart feared every second and just wished everything to be fine...or else she won't be ever able to forgive herself and overcome the loss...

How will she face Sidharth...everything will be over for sure...the way he was possessive about his unborn child in her ,it was her only hope of their broken relationship and she felt it won't held her relation if anything happens..frankly!....then..?no she did not wanted to think anything negative....she kept praying,she kept shedding tears ,hoping to gain more strength and hope ,and wanted Sidharth by her side...but it worried her more as she reached Dr.Sanyal's own clinic  but she was busy in another emergency operation at a government hospital nearby in the waterspout where hospitals were flooded with emergency cases and patients severely sick in the elongated heavy monsoon and flood like situation in the state & so her gyne could not attend her,thus no detailed check up for her...the big city still lacked in good hospitals,private,government both and yes good doctors too at this late hour...well,fate of small cities on the map!!..

As she waited for any doctor to attend her...She sat with tight closed eyes and clenched thighs closed as if she wanted to prevent any bleeding between her legs and save her child anyhow......at any cost!

Being Mother is not at all easy....she understood it very well that day!!

Her body has no energy left at all...her lips had become chapped,dried deprived of traces of water,her face and jaws down & pale , eyes were puffy,swollen & droopy with constant crying,her every bone cracked up in fatigue ,her scratched elbow pained alot now as it has left a deep bruise mark & was swollen too and reminded her what happened in noon time,tough she did not gave it any importance...but she will never forgive Samresh for this...never ever!

It was very late night for any other good female Gyne to consult and examine her....so by a general physician,Shehnaaz was given a low dose of Paracetamol considering her pregnancy and thinking that may be she has caught some viral or bacterial infection in the damp swamp ruins of old university,the rain and cold made it worse when she drenched herself in the heavy rain and caught fever as she travelled to different places,ate and lived in not so appropriate environment...also in pregnancy ,the immunity level is low and thus expecting mothers are more prone to sickness.... she was refused for any antibiotic to be given as it could not be very good for the baby ..and so she was advice to take maximum rest,lots of water and to apply cool wash cloth on her forehead and to take utmost care...that is all... and a good light food which acts as medicine...

And what about love?...which she needed the most currently!...the assurance and the companionship which she craved for?...her Sidharth?

After a while Dr.Sanyal assistent did a quick check up and she was told she has to wait for 2 3 days more to check about the spotting..if it continues more ..then it can be a problem..otherwise nothing to worry much or can be said except waiting as off now...but it did not lessened the stress and anxiety level of Shehnaaz,she was a mother ...how could she not be tensed and frightened!?
