Chapter 2

- Taehyung was listening to the presentation by Jisoo.

"I think this deal would bring us benefits in the both sides, I would like to know my respective partner Kim Taehyung's opinion" she looks at him taking him by surprise. Looks like he was too focused.

he coughs "i think so too" he kept it short.
no matter how much she annoys him he knew he didn't had to worry about her when it's about business.

As the meeting ends, they decided to throw a party for the deal being sealed.

She sat beside Taehyung drinking a glsss of water, "they were a tough deal, right?" he hums taking a look at the papers.

"you did well" he spoke with a proud but cold voice and left her alone with her thumping heart.

She jumped on her place, it was rare for him to praise her. It would always be when she cracks a good deal.

day goes by, and the party was going on. Both Kim fathers were busy having drinks while their kids were handling the party, welcome everyone.

"I must say, Jisoo looks very good with Taehyung" One of their guest compliants making Jisoo blush and smile.

"I want you to repeat this often" Jisoo jokes. Taehyung just plainly stood there bearing her jokes.

"But soulmate is only one, and that's me Park Jimin" a voice behind the guest said. They all look at the short guy in black suit. He smiled with eyes closed to Taehyung.

He comes and hugs Taehyung, make Jisoo rolls her eyes. "I strictly told the guard not to let any short guy enter, did you came illegal?" She taunts like usual she does to Jimin.

"Then your existence shouldn't be here too" Jimin sassily says breaking the hug with Taehyung. The both continues bickering, Taehyung just sighs.

"Jiminah, if you want a drink follow me" Jimin breaks out from the argument. "Going for now because my soulmate called me, see you later Kim" Jisoo glares. "See you later Jimin shorty Park" she makes fun of him for the 10th time already in the evening.

Jisoo waits in the entrance for her best friend Lisa.

There comes the hottest girl in town, Lalisa Manoban. She excitedly walks to Jisoo, trying to show off the dress she choose. Lisa opens her mouth, "how do-" only to be cut off by Jisoo, "why did you came today? You could came after the party ended, and clean the place" Lisa didn't thought this is what she would get to hear.

"KIM FUCKING JISOO, I dressed up so well only to get scold by you!? I'm going bye!"she turns to leave. Jisoo quickly helds her wrist, "yaah Lalisa! You can't go, by the way you look extremely hot I'm just jealous "Lisa looks at her doubtfully, "everyone is jealous of me so understandable"

Jisoo and Lisa joins Taehyung and Jimin in the drinking section. Jimin gave a annoyed look, "can't you sit somewhere else?" Lisa looks at him giving his annoyed look back, "why don't you find a girl and leave Jisoo's man with her?" Jisoo laughs at Lisa's remark. "Good job bestie!" She pats Lisa's shoulder, Lisa smiles at Jisoo proudly.

"Welcome to the party Lisa" Taehyung spoke between trying to stop the argument. "Thank you Tae oppa" Lisa smiles sweetly. "Oh my god, look at this chameleon! How she talks with Tae, just now were bullying me" Jimin shakes head in disbelief.

"You gotta be a gentleman to receive that Jiminahh!" Jisoo says sitting beside Taehyung's seat. Taehyung stood up and made a drink for Lisa. "Don't call me jiminah! Only Tae could call me that" Jimin warns.

Taehyung hands the glass of drink to Lisa. "where is mine, Tae?" Jisoo asks waiting for her drink to be served by Taehyung. He just sat on his seat slowly, "I don't think I can't handle a drunk Jisoo, sober Jisoo is already enough to handle" Taehyung taunts about the last time Jisoo was heavily drunk and started doing stupid stuffs. She slapped a old pervert man, vomited on a guy who tried to ask her out, told Taehyung to carry her like a kdrama actor. And many other stuffs.

Jimin laughs taking the glass from Taehyung, "he only serves his soulmate" Jimin shows off.

Jisoo glared and then looked at Taehyung, "if you are onto that incident, if was like long ago Tae! I can have one drink at least" Jisoo whines. Taehyung stayed quiet and stared at infront watching the guests.

"If you won't give I'll take by myself" she stood up and storms to waiter. "Give me a drink" the waiter looks down. "Sorry ma'am, we have been forbidden strictly to give you any drink" Jisoo felt betrayed. She let out a chuckle of sadness. She looks at Taehyung behind her who was sitting calmly.

"This is party is for me, you are saying you won't give me drink?" She says in a angry tone. The waiter gulps. Taehyung signaled to go, the waiter left Jisoo who was blabbering. "Yaah! Come back!" She yells.

Lisa pats her shoulder taking her attention, "stop embarrassing yourself! I have something to say let's go in private" Jisoo nods and glanced at Taehyung who was talking to Jimin.

Taehyung, Jisoo met eachother when they were 5 years old. Taehyung was Jisoo's first friend and vice versa. Jisoo grew up loving him, but he never showed any kind of emotions to her. She thought it's just his personality. While they grew up, both families were aware of the closeness these two holds. They were sure they'll marry eachother. Because the whole day they spent together in office then on Sundays they would have a family dinner with eachother. So basically Jisoo was a vital part of his life, and Taehyung was her favourite part of life.

Both families considered eachother as family, Taehyung and Jisoo were kids of both family. Taehyung was a introvert, but Jisoo's blabbering was enough for his day to be spend.

"So how is it going on between you and Taehyung? Are things going further?" Jisoo's eyebrows furrows at the question in confusion.

"What do you mean? You know the things between us right?" Jisoo says sighing.

"I mean you haven't even kissed him yet right? Why don't you kiss him?" Jisoo's eyes widened hearing Lisa. "What the heck Lisa! Do you want me dead? I don't want to die before getting married to him" Jisoo screams at Lisa.

Lisa sighs, "you have to take it to another level Jisoo, it's time to claim your man!" Lisa shows her fists giving her confidence.

"No no, I won't kiss him by myself. Although I take everything from him forcefully, I'll wait till the day he kiss by himself. Do you know why still we aren't married? Because I'm waiting for him to say "i love you" to me by himself. Not in any pressure or sympathy" Lisa smiles weakly.

"Don't you get tired of him rejecting you indirectly?" Jisoo shakes her head as no. "Do you know he never says no to me? No matter how busy he is he would still go anywhere I ask, even if he is tired and has annoyed look he still goes with me. Because we are partners in business? No, Taehyung don't care about all these stuffs and benefits. He genuinely cares for me, all the time he does just never shows" Jisoo remembers each and every moment they had till now. She feels grateful that he is her first love.

"But Jisoo, why don't he treat you nicer then? I think you deserve better than this" Lisa's word were bitter for Jisoo. She stood up immediately in anger, "you said it today but don't ever say this again! You out of all people knows very well how much I love him, you or anyone don't have any idea how he is!" She storms out of the place.

Lisa was left alone feeling guilty.
