chapter 12

the lady offered them some water, she settles down in the couch staring at the couple. "who are you to the parks?" her questions held their breath. what should he answer? I'm the abandoned child of Park's daughter? he thought staring at the old lady.

"we are relatives" Jisoo answers instead. "oh,did you lost contact with them?" Jisoo nods. "can you help us out finding them?" She asks the lady.

"I wish I could" she says. Taehyung felt hopeless at this point, everytime he feels like he found her it turns out he didn't. why can't he find her yet?

"but her daughter is in this city, with her husband" this sentence just gave a light. did he just find here almost? "you can meet her and asks about her parents" Jisoo looks at Taehyung with a lit eyes, he stares back with some hope.

they talked with the lady for sometime and found that his mother married a man named Jeon Junho.

"thank you so much Aunty, you helped us big time!" Jisoo holds the lady's hand being gratefully to her. "I am glad to be a help to someone, I live alone if you guys ever need anything you can come to me" she was a sweet lady, like a mother she said that.

They sat in the car as Jisoo drives, "so where are we going? straight to the address?" Taehyung shook his head. she frowns upon hearing that. "then where to?" she asks. "Office" he shortly replies. Jisoo was confused but drove away to the office as per he said.

After they arrive at the office, Taehyung went to the cabin and starts looking for some papers. "what are you looking for?" Jisoo asks looking at the restless Taehyung. He was searching something crazily.

After some moment he looks at Jisoo, as if he found something very important. She just stared back blankly not knowing what is he up to.

He calls from the cabin phone and called some employees, "get ready for the meeting, take these files and call them saying we are ready for the deal. But we need a good presentation by tonight!" the employees nooded and straight went to inform the dealers.

"this partnership will bring something for us" he says looking out of the window. Jisoo walks closed and places her hand on his shoulder, "what happened? you're suddenly on business?" he turns to her and gave a small smile.

"let's go, I'll take you for a visit to this city" Jisoo frowns but smiles as soon as she realises he would be taking her out. they are going out after a long time.

"then I'll go home" she turns to leave but he holds her wrist stopping her, "why?" he asks. "to get ready for our date" she says. "what's there to ready? you look pretty enough" he says taking a proper look at her face. She blushes hearing him, as he leaves her wrist. She turns quickly to leave to hide her red cheeks. "for me" he mutters staring at her leaving figure.

After Jisoo left he sat on his place, staring at the city. he rewind his life, how it started. he should have been more grateful to everything he had. he should have been more expressive to the people who loved him truly.

After finding out about his identity he feels the need to be expressive and considerate to his parents and Jisoo. They are the only people who really cares for him.

he calls his parents, "Tae! how are you my baby?" his mother asks. he smiles at how she talks to him still now, as if he is a kid. "I'm good mom, how are you and dad?" he asks. "we are missing you so much! can't you come back to us?" her voice vulnerable as she speaks. "I will come back to you, you're my home mom" he says truthfully. Mrs Kim cries hearing this, she was now reassured her son will come back. "How is Jisoo doing? take care of that baby" he chuckles. definitely she is a baby to the both family.

As she was the youngest in the both family she always gets more pampered. "we are going on a date right now, I'll talk to you both later" he informs. hearing this Mr Kim and Mrs Kim was so happy, finally his son is recognising his love for Jisoo.

Soon his cabin door opens shut and he knows it's only her who would enter without permission like this. He chuckles and moves around to face her.

his breathing almost stopped, knees were jiggling, heart rate fast like a bullet train. she wore a blue crop top and a white skirt. almost looking like a teenager. she was looking too pretty, it was nostalgic when he saw her. It reminds him of their school days.

"How am I looking?" She twirls holding the little skirt she wore. Taehyung can't move his eyes away from her at all, his shaky breath couldn't be more obvious at how she took his breath away. Litterally

He stood up and walks closer to her standing right infront of her, almost their breathing were felt on eachother's face, "I might get into jail" Jisoo's eyes widened hearing him. "What? Why?!" She yells. Who would dare to arrest this man? If anyone will arrest him the only reason it would be is being too handsome and unnecessarily hot.

"you look like a teenager, they might think I'm on a date with a under aged" he controls his laugh looking at her reaction to him. "I can't comprehend was it a compliment or are you saying indirectly to change?" she asks pouting. he pinched her adorable cheeks and walks ahead, "let's go!"

This is too much for her heart! this man has no idea what he had done in these two hours!

He took her to a museum, he was artistic person and became of him she also turned into a art lover. they look through many paintings and ends up buying few. later he took her to a restaurant and had lunch. then went to walk around the city. And they didn't even realise when it was night.

"I love walking in the night" she exclaims happily. he smiles looking at her happy but tired face. as soon as she saw a popsicle stall she runs to it, Taehyung just followed the baby. She brought two for them.

"I don't like these" he moves it away. "It's tasty! Come on try it!" she forces. "See how I eat!" She took out her tongue and lick the popsicle. his eyes on her lips to her eyes to her neck. he gulps looking away from her.

he took it from her and stuffs in his mouth, "Tae! That's mine" he mistakenly took hers popsicle. "Sorry! Have mine then" he points to another popsicle in her hand.

She huffs and stuffs it inside her mouth. They continue walking to their home, "Tae is the meeting very important? why did you ordered like that in the morning?" she asks licking her popsicle.

Taehyung looks at her before answering...
