chapter 21

Taehyung comes out of the tunnel, Jisoo looks at him with her tearful eyes.

She couldn't find herself in peace right now even after seeing him. Why is that?

"Why did you hide away?" she asks. voice deep and hoarse because of the emotional breakdown she just experienced.

He didn't answer instead he knelt down infront of her, he forwards his hand. holds her hand softly, looks at her, into her eyes pouring his sincerity as he spoke, "Because I'm a stupid, but I have decided that I'm not a stupid anymore" she confusedly stares.

wipes her tears, pulls her hand infront of his lips, kisses it softly "I'll not hide away from you anymore, how can I hide away from my home?" he adds up with another kiss on her hand.

She couldn't believe this is Taehyung.

"do you promise?" she asks in a sad voice, pouting face.

he nods, "i promise. i promise to be a better person for you"  there's no doubt he is sincere about this.

she quickly engulfs him in a tight hug, sobbing into his arms, muttering how much she was worried.

he smiled knowing she cares this much for a man like him..

"Let's go to house?" he asks. "sure" she says breaking the hug. but their hand still interwined.

They went home walking, hands in hands, doesn't care about anything in this world.

After they went home, Taehyung ordered some food for them. After eating he puts her into sleep, but stays beside her watching her, regretting the past.

"I'll not care about them anymore, let's just focus on us" He tucks her hairs and leaned down and kissed her head on top.

Next morning Jisoo woke up and found the household in a chaotic manner. She stood up and tucks her hairs in a bun going down.

"What's happening guys?" she asks the servants.

Before the servants answers Taehyung walks in a suit saying, "we are leaving to our real home" Jisoo was surprised. She didn't expected to be hit by this out of nowhere.

"So suddenly?" she asks. "I don't think it's worth living here anymore" Taehyung answers while he fix his tie once more time.

"Did something happened Tae? We couldn't talk much last night, let's talk first" she suggests.

After that she took a bath, changed into a new set of clothes and went to the dinning table for breakfast.

Found it empty, then the servants said  "sir told to serve the breakfast in the garden" she nods.

As she walks there she found the table set very nicely like some restaurant. It made her smile, thinking she always wanted to have a date at home like this.

"Hey Tae, this is amazing!" she appreciates the set. "All for you" he says keeping the magazine he was reading. She smiles with a surprise look.

"I'm getting very confused" she starts. "why?" he asks. "First of all, you're saying we are leaving suddenly, secondly this whole set-up for me?" Taehyung shakes his head.

"Looks like a gentleman can't do anything without having to answer his actions" he gives a witty reply which surprises her more. She giggles at this, "well the gentleman is most welcome to do more of this" she picks the fork and starts having the breakfast.

"How is the breakfast?" He questions admiring her enjoying the food. "yummy!" She shorty replies moaning on the taste.

He chuckles at her. "it's good to see you enjoying the food" he says.

"By the way, what happened last night?" she asks wiping his smile away.

"Something very detestable" Taehyung spits it out. he shorty told her what his mother told him.

"I can't believe she can say this!" Jisoo really thought she might be a good lady.

"I don't want to talk about her anymore, the reason of coming here ends last night so there's no point of staying here" Taehyung explains why they are leaving.

"I agree" Jisoo nods saying. "But before leaving we should go to the office and check up for the last time" She adds. Taehyung was about to agree then he remembers Jungkook will come today too for training.

"But Jungkook would come, I don't want to see him either" He was quite of unhappy with the fact Jungkook was loved by his mother but he wasn't.

"I'll just tell him we are leaving and after that Jeons and we would never meet. I'll appoint a CEO for here" she solves the problem he was worrying about.

"Okay as you say" he softly told looking at her. his eyes were different this time. Glance of affection.

"Why do you look at me like that?" She chuckles looking away. He chuckled along finding her blushing cute. "Why? You don't like it?" he teases.

"I love it" she says boldly having direct eye contacts. Taehyung smirks and leans as if he was about to kiss her, she moves away instinct.

But he just wipes the crumbs off her lips corner.

Her heartbeat increases feeling his touch, his breathing on her skin.

"If you are done daydreaming let's go to office" he jokes on that. She pouts but instantly blushes again remembering the moments.

They went to the office and starts bid the employee goodbye. Then Jungkook enters his expressions speaks confusion.

"Hey Jungkook, glad you came! I was about to inform you about our departure" Jisoo starts. taehyung just stares blankly.

"Where?"Jungkook asks. "We are leaving Daegu and going to our own home" Jungkook could feel his heart breaking at the thought of her going away.

"Why? What's the need?" He almost yells which startled others. Taehyung raises his eyebrows at his behaviour.

"Our work here is done. Our deals are taken care off so we are leaving" Jisoo calmly replies even though she was startled by him.

Jungkook felt the need to cage Jisoo at this point. The even thought of her going away scares him. He can't think of days without seeing her anymore.

"But what about Jeons and Kims partnership?" he inquires, the desperation to make her stay visible.

"Don't worry our partnership stays, we'll appoint a talented CEO" Jisoo again responses with a smile.

"Is it necessary to leave? Can't you stay?" He was whining like a little kid. He pulls Jisoo's hand requesting.

Taehyung had enough of Jungkook. He pulls Jisoo away from Jungkook and closer to him. "Mr Jeon we are business partners, we are not that close for your immature behaviour with us" he told strictly.

Jungkook stared at Jisoo for to speak but she kept quiet and watched the scene unfolding.
