Adam pov: Chapter two

(yes there will be others povs in this story but not a lot dw SWEAR WARNING ofc there are a lot of swears in this chapter because its adam)
I hear the keys clacking in the door as Lute and Melody are coming home. I rush to reach for my mask as i rarely take off my mask in front of others.
"Hey Dangertits, Pussycat" I greet them by their nicknames that i made. Still pretty f*cking hilarious.
Lute gives me a "what do you want" look and Melody just smiles awkwardly at me. I swear out of all the serafims shes the coolest one and the most tolerable. Shes also the prettiest. She doesn't question me and just goes along with my antics, she laughs at my weird ass jokes, she can sing pretty well and shes nice. Im honestly quite a big fan of her music, because even in heaven her songs and music record holders and she is quite famous. But even so im still just a little jealous that shes got such a great and supportive girlfriend and an amazing title. Shes so damn lucky, you know? Eve and Lilith did NOT work out for me.
Lute breaks my train of thought. "Sir."
"What the hell Lute,you dont have to call me sir, were out of work. What the hell do you want" i answer.
"Sir-Adam did you break Melody's cup?"
Dammit i thought she wouldn't notice.
"uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... maybe." i drag the uhh really long.
She lets out a sigh and resumes doing the dishes. "You better go apologize soon." She says.
"Ughh fineeee." I complain. I have no idea why i listen to her, but i unconsciously do for no reason and im not planning not to because she is scary.
I walk upstairs to the girls' room and see Melody sitting on her bed wearing the fluffiest pajamas i have ever seen.
"Hey...uh Melody?"
"yeah?" She responds
"Im sorry..... I accidentally broke your favourite cupppp......"I say. God this is annoying.
"Ehhh, its okay...Doesn't matter, i was planning on getting a new one anyway."
She says.
She is not angry in the slightest. This is why she is the f*cking coolest she doesn't get mad unlike Lute.
I leave the room and go back to the couch.
Melody comes down soon after me.
"Hey Adam, me and Lute are planning on watching a movie later, since tomorrow is Sunday and we dont have work...wanna join?" Melody says out of the blue.
A few minutes later Lute comes out of the kitchen and plops down on the couch next to me, followed by Melody.
"So what should we watch?" Melody asks
I shoot Lute a devilish look. "How about that Japanese movie- The Star In My Eyes?" I know Melody acted in that movie as the lead actress in her past life, and its a really cheesy romance movie, so i suggest it.
Lute catches my flow and starts giggling. "Yeah..why not?" She says laughing.
Melody blushes really hard and opens her mouth the resist, but i cut in. "Two against one. Let's watch it!"
We end up watching the movie and Melody screaming her lungs out every time there's a super cringey/cheesy scene and me and Lute burst out laughing. Midway through the movie Melody just gives up trying and resorts to blushing insanely whenever she's on screen. Melody and Lute end up cuddling on the couch which makes me feel super lonely, but they're so cute together, so i don't stop them. When the movie ends we go back to our separate rooms and i put on one of my favourite Melody's love songs Full Moon, and fall asleep soon after, dreaming of what could have been with Eve and Lilith.
