(timeskip: 3 months)
Its been three months since me and Melody's arrival in heaven. We're both getting the hang of using our wings, but shes still not as good as i am. Mainly because my army training is tough and fast-progressing. Im undergoing some flying training and skills progress, but i excelled in the fighting skills test, probably because my father taught me how to fight, and he was a military soldier. We are due for an "extermination" in 5 months, yet i have no idea what that is. According to Adam, my boss, it is just a small yearly battle against our enemies. Whoever they are. Anyway, im not sure what Melody has to do, but its kind of a lot of meetings, and bringing happiness to the people here, i guess. She also pays a visit to the training centre daily at exactly 4:30 pm for a healing session, when the army takes a break, lines up to talk to her for a bit and at the end, heals some of our wounds if we have any with her healing power that apparently came with her wings, plus that power smells like lavender, so the entire training facility smells like lavender after the session. And another thing, she can turn into a cat. Somehow, i do not know why, both me and her can shape shift into a cat. Melody likes to keep her ears and tail out so she's basically half-cat most of the time while i just conceal the fact that i can shape shift. its been like this since we came to heaven and i find this power useless, but okay. Not many problems here, except one. Adam. Yes. Adam. My boss and my roommate is the weirdest person alive. Considering he was the first man, you would have expected him to be more mature. But no. He behaves like a little kid, is absolutely obsessed with his guitar and annoying the hell out of me and Melody and he swears a lot. Pretty much any sentence that comes out of his mouth contains a swear word. The two of us are trying really hard to get along with Adam, but its quite a task in itself. Besides, it doesn't help that he likes to call me Dangertits and call Melody Pussycat. Very appropriate nicknames you got there. I just got off duty and now im heading towards the city hall, where Melody works to go get her and go home. Let's hope Adam hasn't made a mess back there yet.
