Chapter 21- All Downhill from Here

Flo POV

Haters rejoiced, critics had a field day when the news first hit the internet. The PR team of the Institute was furious with me, my family was concerned, my friends – the real ones- were half amused and half worried.

It was due to the high tension in Seoul because of my attacking a Korean that Mom asked me to go to Japan for a few days. It was nice going around the places where my brother had grown up and it was also nice to see my nephews and niece. Ren was also worried but also pissed at me because I won't tell him the whole story – I don't want Kai killed even with what he did.

So because of my brother being his nossy self I moved to a hotel instead of staying with him. Minny constantly called me but other then Sehun the boys were oddly silent, it seems they were on Kai's side. Men, I will never understand them.

And other then that it was almost two weeks since I last heard from Kris, all my messages and calls were unanswered or never connected. That made me uneasy. I knew that Kris has fits of wanderlust and likes to travel alone but contrary to what the guys think that Kris is off contact he still messages me when he goes on those trips. He sends me pictures of the places where he was at and the food he was eating. That is why I was worried because not one picture came. I had a bad feeling about this trip.

Entering my hotel room I called out to Jacob asking if he had news about Kris and I stopped on my tracks as someone stood up from the sofa, his suitcase on the side. The sunflowers fell on the floor as I stared at him, my heart tripling in it's beats.

"What are you doing here? How did you find me?" I asked.

"It wasn't that hard Flo. You were on TV." Kai answered.

"What do you want?" I asked not moving from my place. I head foot steps come up from my side.

"Flo, Kai is here- oh." Nikki said. "I'll be at the kitchen." She adds putting a hand on my shoulder, gave me an encouraging smile before going back to where she came from. Seth, Jacob and Edward were no where to be seen.

It was a few more moments of silence before I decided to sit down on the chair opposite the sofa. Kai mimicked my movements and sat back down on the sofa.

"These are for you."He said picking up the sunflowers from the floor and putting them on the table.

"Thank you." I said but didn't move to take the flowers.

Kai sighed loudly and ran a hand through his hair- he was frustrated. I looked at his face and saw the bags under his eyes. Did he lose sleep like I did this past few days?

"I'm withdrawing from the Korea- London exhibition." he said after a few more minutes of silence.

"Why?"I asked.

"Isn't that what you wanted?" He asked brows fusing together.

"No Kai. I never wanted you to do that." I said shaking my head.

"Then what do you want Flo?" He asked his voice rising slightly.

"It seems your tired. Let's talk when you're rested." I said and started to stand.

"Sit down." He ordered and I was taken by surprise with his tone. He never used that tone on me. I sat down and stared at him. "What do you want Flo? What do you want from me?"

"Kai.. I never wanted you to stop dancing, I even gave you permission to dance with Lee Na Ra." I said.

"Then why are you mad?!" He asked.
