 Chapter 44 - Muscle Memory

FLO POV

Everyone was silent. It was like they had become statues from what I said but after a beat Lay stood up and walked towards me. He grabbed my hand and pulled me up.

"Ummm La-Lay? What?" I stammered as he wrapped an arm around my waist. He smirked.

Lay just smirked at me. How can this angelic face look so devilish.

"So you finally remembered my sweet."He murmured pulling me close.

"Woah! Woah!" I squeaked out pushing myself away. I glanced away from him to see Jong In entering the room and stopped to watch us.

Help. I mouthed at him. He looked confused then pissed. That didn't look good.

"Umm Lay?" I asked looking back at the man holding me. His smirk was gone and he was now smiling at me amused. I then knew I was played.

"Your face was worth millions Flo." He said grinning.

"Lay yo- you!" I stammered hitting his chest as he loosen his hold on me.

"Yes darling?" He asked with a smile.

"Oh I won't not trust your dimples anymore!" I exclaimed.

He let me go to laugh loudly.

"Hey! That was not funny!" I complained.

"It was. You looked so panicky." He answered placing an arm around my shoulders while chuckling. Somehow I didn't feel awkward with the action. "So I'm your boyfriend?"

"I don't know. Are you?" I asked back.

"I can be." He answered.

"Hey I'm serious. I did have a dream.. A very blurry dream of the beach, horseback riding, and you brought me something... those weren't real?" I asked feeling confused and sad. I look up to see his face had become guarded. He looked away from me to meet Min-shu's eyes.

"We can answer yes or no. That's all. We can't rush you Flo." Min-shu answered.

"Well what's new." I answered with a sigh. "Well was it true or not?"

"It was." Lay answered.

"So you're my ex?" I asked raising a brow as he chuckled.

"Well we became a couple for a day because of a game but if you want it like that, yeah I'm an ex." Lay answered.

"For a day?" I asked still confused.

"Yep. A day. It was nice but we separated ways." Lay answered.

"Why?" I asked then felt the now familiar throb of my head. I sighed loudly and rubbed the bridge of my nose. This amnesia-pain is getting old and irritating. "Don't answer that. I might faint."

"I'm sorry Flo. This must be really frustrating for you." Lay said softly running a gentle hand through my hair. "You don't have to remember that memory, just go for the important ones first."

"How will I know if that one was not important? It must have been to you so I can't just disregard that." I answered.

"You are still the selfless Flo I know." Lay said with a smile. "Think about yourself for today."

"No." I whined.

"She's also our stubborn Flo." Baekhyun commented. He stepped beside me on the other side and grinned. "Would you believe me if I told you I'm your boyfriend?"
