Chapter 61 - Together Again

I looked up to Ori. She was intimidating in her full wolf form but I found it also haunting and so beautiful. I grinned and lunged myself at her. Jong In must have been shocked because I meet no resistance despite him holding me. Ori caught me easily and I sunk into her warmth.

"Flo?" even her voice was modulated when she was in her Wolf form. It was more alluring, like a siren. "Flo?!"

"Oh so warm." I muttered rubbing my face on her shoulder. I smiled when the warmth lowered a few degrees and I felt arms wrap around me.

"Florence you idiot. I could have killed you!" Ori complained but was still hugging me.

"But you didn't." I said and leaned back. I reached up and placed my hand on her cheek. I immediately noticed that her hair was almost blonde but I was just too happy to see her. "Hello Ori."

"Orianna! Stand dow- oh you're back to normal." A voice from her back shouted. I leaned sidewards to see who it was. It was one of my guards back from the manor. I was pondering his name when Ori said it.

"I told you I can control my powers very well Jacob." Ori said and her temperature went down to her normal I'm hotter than a normal human temperature.

"Bloody hell. Flo?!" Jacob said truly shocked. We heard some cocking of guns. I tensed up reached over to pull Jong In beside me. Ori sighed and turned around putting both of us behind her.

"Can you please ask your companions to stand down?" Ori asked.

"Well who was it that went bonkers and shifted right in front of us and charged towards the door like a bloody maniac and caused the other guards to go to level one?!" Jacob asked obviously irritated.

"Jacob? Is everything okay?" Another voice asked and a group of guards rounded around the corner to stop behind Jacob, their guns were still drawn and the laser lights were all aimed at Ori.

Something painful triggered in my mind and I clutched Jong In as I almost staggered down to the floor.

They were also taken by surprise when they saw me and Jong In.

"Is that.. Flo!!" A guard exclaimed.

"Hello." I said with a weak smile my head still throbbing painfully. I thought I was done with all of these memory flickers. "I'm sorry I must have taken all of you by surprise but can you please lower down your guns?"

"Stand down men." Jacob ordered. Jacob stepped towards us concern on his face. "Flo can you please go back to your wheelchair? You look like you are about to pass out."

"I'm going to be fine." I insisted.

"Humor me Khan." Ori said and gently pushed me back to my chair. "You might want to sit because we have a bit of a walk to your friends."

"You're my friend too." I said.

"I know Flo." She said ruffling my hair gently. "I'm glad your back." She wrapped an arm around me and squeezed me gently.

"Thanks Ori." I said with a grin and reached for Jong In's hand. His presence was making me calmer than anything else.

"Although I still think you're an idiot." Ori said as she started to push my wheelchair.

"Yeah yeah." I answered with a yawn. I was now feeling tired.

"Are you two okay? Don't you need to go to a doctor?" Ori asked her eyes studying me then to Jong In.
