Chapter 47 - Emotion into Motion

KAI POV

I felt like I was going back in time. Back to that moment when I first kissed her. The frustrations, longing and everything else disappeared as her lips touched mine and was just replaced by heat and that electric feeling.

Her perfume was faint as I pulled her even closer. I missed having her in my arms like this. I missed her. I miss Flo so much it hurt.

A trembling hand touched my face and time came back to the present. I pulled back breathless as her eyes met mine.

Brown meets blue.

"Flo I- I" I said still trying to catch my breath. Her eyes was a swirl of emotions as she stared at me. I suddenly felt anxious as the silence went on. "Flo I'm so-"

"Shuss." She said softly as she leaned her head on my chest.

"But I should-" I tried but her fingers touched my lips effectively stopping what ever I wanted to say.

"Jong In. Shut up for a second." She said. Her hands grasped my shirt as she took several deep breaths. I realized that maybe I triggered a severe memory flicker and she was in pain.

"Flo. Flo are you alright?" I said trying to pull away but she wrapped her arms around me tightly. "Flo."

She didn't say anything but moved her head to the crook of my neck.

"Flo?"

"I -" She took another deep breath sending small electric currents into my spin. "I remember."

Could it be?

"Who?" I couldn't finish what I wanted to ask.

I felt her move, her lips against my skin.

"I need to go." She said softly. She placed a soft kiss on my jaw.

"Wait."

"I'm sorry Jong In. I need to go." She said and pulled away. She looked up at me and I saw her cheeks were still blushing. She gave me a soft smile. "Fine me later."

"Flo wait. What-"

"Later."

Her hands ran down my arms softly and she ran off back towards the Manor but stopped before she turned the corner.

"I like your surprise by the way! Thank you!" She said and bobbed the pink balloon tied on her wrist. "Find me later Jong In!"

She grinned widely and waved as I waved back stupidly. She disappeared at the corner while I still stood there like an idiot touching my lips. I sat down heavily on the nearest bench my mind still in chaos.

I didn't know how many minutes passed until someone found me still at that garden still sitting dazed.

"Yo Kai!" Chanyeol said as he and Baekhyun walked towards me.

"Hey." I answered looking around. The balloons were still everywhere. "What time is it?"

"9 in the morning." DO answered behind them. "Lay told me you didn't sleep in your room last night."

"Yeah. Was doing this." I answered with a yawn waving my hands around.

"Well?" Baekhyun asked plopping down beside me and punched my shoulder. "Was it worth the loss of sleep?"

"Everything I exchange as long as it's for her is worth it." I answered.

"Kai don't put your cheesy lines on me." Baekhyun said faking a vomit.
